A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street. Upon approach, R/O noticed the Suspects slurred speech to which the Suspect admitted to having a few alcoholic beverages. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - PERMIT -OPERATING AFTER SUSPENSION | 23:10:00 | 230711001617 | R/O observed a vehicle with no headlights illuminated as it travelled eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspects license was suspended in the District of Columbia and Maryland, with no status through Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS UNREG AMMO - MISD UNREG FIREARM - MISD POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE x 2 | 02:52:00 | 230711001610 | R/O observed a vehicle with an individual asleep at the wheel while traveling south bound in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. While speaking with the driver, A/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFST's were conducted by A/O and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, A/O discovered four loaded high capacity magazines and an unloaded firearm. CSS responded and processed the scene. CID was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

Upon arrival, the Complainant stated they parked their vehicle on June 27, 2023. Complainant stated they returned to their vehicle on July 10, 2023, and noticed two tires appeared to have been intentionally punctured. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

A/O obtained the vehicle's license plate from which a WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle was stolen. A canvass of the area was conducted with negative results. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 800 Block of South Capitol Street. Upon approach, the Suspect was unable to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

MPD broadcast a lookout for an individual damaging the front door of a business. A/O-1 observed an individual matching the lookout in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A stop was conducted in the same location. During the stop, A/O-1 observed the Suspect pick up a large rock and motion to throw it at him before dropping it. A show up was conducted and the Complainant positively identified the Suspect. During the arrest investigation, the Suspect kicked both legs of A/O-2. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. |
