CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) 16:04:00 220726001122 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL; POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE R/O responded to a radio call for a lookout of a man with a gun in the area of Union Square in the unit block of Third Street, SW. R/O located a person matching the description in the same location. Upon approach, R/O immediately detained the Suspect, and recovered a weapon and a magazine loaded with seven rounds of ammunition from the Suspect's person. The Suspect did not have a permit to carry in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 11:40:00 220725001113 R/O responded to room 322 of the Hart Senate Office Building in reference to a demonstration within the office. R/O observed the Complainant advising a group of 17 individuals, who were carrying banners, to leave the office. R/O warned the group to leave the office, and all but six Suspects failed to comply. Six Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD 13:30:00 220725001117 R/O responded to the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Columbus Circle, NE, for the report of Destruction to Property. The Complainants stated they observed an individual destroying a U.S. Capitol Visitor sign and multiple trash cans. A lookout was broadcast for the Suspect. R/O located the Suspect, and made a stop in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UUV - FELONY 03:16:00 220724001111 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAG R/O observed the Suspect bypass a "Do Not Enter" sign in the 100 block of First Street, SW. The vehicle displayed a dealer tag on the bumper, and a New Jersey tag in the rear window. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the New Jersey tag returned with no vehicle registered. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's VIN, which returned as stolen. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:19:00 220724001109 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red light signal in the intersection of North Capitol and H Streets, NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of North Capitol Street, NE. While speaking with the driver, R/O noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's District of Columbia identification card revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 01:55:00 220723001107 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: USCA POSS AMPHETAMINE - MISD; POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON R/O observed a vehicle with a flat left tire in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect returned an armed and dangerous caution, and two active warrants. R/O conducted an administrative search of the Suspect, and located a box cutter with a blade. Upon further investigation, a baggy containing a crystalized, rock-like substance was also found, which later tested positive for Methamphetamine. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
MISD WARRANT 22:41:00 220723001108 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: BAIL REFORM ACT - MISD R/O observed an individual known to have an outstanding warrant standing at the intersection of Second and D Streets, NW. R/O conducted a stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active misdemeanor bench warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 15:59:24 220722001101 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 block North Capitol Street, NW, displaying an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's driver's license was suspended in Maryland with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia, and the displayed tag did not correspond with the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 18:37:00 220722001106 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; POSSESSION OPEN CONTAINER ALCOHOL - POCA R/O was approached by two individuals that stated they believed the driver behind them was suffering from a medical emergency at the intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue, NW. While attempting to render aid, R/O noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, and a bottle of dark liquid on top of the arm rest. A WALES/ NCIC check of the Suspect's identification card revealed an expired driver's status in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
FELONY THREATS 09:07:00 220722001098 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: AGGRESSIVE PANHANDLING; DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISD DC CODE 22-1321 R/O observed the Suspect following the Complainant in the unit block of E Street, NW. The Complainant entered a vehicle in an attempt to get away from the Suspect. Further investigation revealed that the Complainant was approached by the Suspect asking for money in the 500 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. When the Complainant refused to give the Suspect money, the Suspect began making violent threats against the Complainant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search, a folding tactical knife was recovered from the Suspect's pocket. CSS responded and processed the scene.
