TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 11:29:00 220425000530 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 300 block of Second Street, NE, displaying an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Second Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the tag was expired, and revealed the Suspect did not have a valid driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:06:00 220425000532 R/O was traveling in the 100 block of Fifth Street, NE, when he observed a vehicle with expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag to be expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 19:19:14 220423000524 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 R/O, while on patrol, observed an individual attempting to push past restaurant staff in order to gain entry into a restaurant located in the unit block of F Street, NW. Upon arrival, R/O detained the Suspect while R/O-2 spoke with the Complainant. The Complainant observed the Suspect pick up a glass and throw it on the ground causing it to break. Due to the Suspect having an active barring notice from the restaurant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:55:00 220423000522 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL R/O responded to the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street, NW, for the reported sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle off the roadway in the unit block of D Street, NW, and the Suspect standing outside of the vehicle. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O recovered a partially-full tequila bottle in the backseat on the passenger-side floorboard.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 19:34:00 220420000513 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER - POCA; USCA - POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA R/O observed a vehicle strike a parked box truck while traveling westbound in the 200 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle, and observed the Suspect holding a clear bottle half-full of a brown liquid. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A search of the Suspect's vehicle yielded a backpack containing a pipe commonly associated with drug use. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 17:30:00 220418000503 R/O was dispatched to the Library of Congress James Madison Building for the report of an individual claiming to be holding himself hostage. The Suspect was found sitting on a bench inside the Independence Avenue door behind the screening area. R/O ordered the Suspect to leave the building numerous times. After failing to leave, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 01:18:00 220418000500 R/O observed a vehicle stopped at a green light at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets, NW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the displayed tags, which revealed an expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia license with no status in Maryland or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 05:55:00 220417000498 R/O observed a vehicle at South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue, SW, commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Second Street, SW. While speaking with R/O, the Suspect admitted to having consumed an alcoholic beverage before operating their vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSS OPEN CONTAINER ALCOHOL - POCA 20:14:00 220417000499 R/O observed an individual in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with a bottle of wine in his hand. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O detected a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed two non-extraditable warrants. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:01:00 220417000497 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Washington Avenue, SW, commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of marijuana and an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and the Suspect. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
