Air sampling in the Senate Cloakrooms and the Senate Press Gallery was conducted overnight. All tests for asbestos were negative.

Effective immediately, July 6, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., the Senate Democratic and Republican Cloakrooms, along with portions of the Senate Press Galleries in the United States Capitol, will be closed for asbestos testing.
