On Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at 8:00 pm, United States Capitol Police arrested 128 members of the American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today (ADAPT) organization and charged with unlawful assembly. ADAPT had refused to leave SD-215, a committee room in the Dirksen Senate Office Building after several warnings to disassemble by United States Capitol Police.

The United States Capitol Police will hold a press conference tomorrow, February 5, 2004 at the corner of Delaware Ave and C Street, NE to provide any updates to the recent Ricin incident.

The United States Capitol Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing a joint investigation into the Ricin incident that began Monday, February 2, 2004 when a powdery substance was discovered in a room in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

On Friday, December 5, 2003, the United States Capitol Police will host the Fourth Annual Holiday Party for sixty Birney children. The event will take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Dirksen Senate Office Building room SDG50.

Today, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the United States Capitol Police arrested Jasper CROWN, of no fixed address, for Destruction of Government Property outside of the Cannon House Office Building.

At approximately 1 p.m. today, the United States Capitol Police determined that someone with a gun had entered the Cannon House Office Building. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the gun was a plastic toy revolver that was part of a Halloween costume.
