The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CROSSING POLICE LINE | 18:19:00 | 220909001371 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RESISTING ARREST R/O observed the Suspect approach protesters in the area of the unit block of First Street, NW, and take a sign from one of them before sliding in between the fixed bike racks and the Lower West Terrace wall. R/O directed the Suspect to stop, but she dropped the sign and hopped over the wall into another restricted area before running to the middle of the West Lawn and lying down. As R/O was attempting to place the Suspect under arrest, she began to kick and resist arrest. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag to be expired and belonging to a different vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| UUV - FELONY | 04:23:00 | 220907001354 | ADDTIONAL CHARGES: RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY - $1000 & OVER FELONY; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O received a LoJack notification in reference to a stolen vehicle in the unit block of K Street, SW. While tracking the vehicle location, R/O observed a vehicle matching the description from the LoJack reader in the 1400 block of Water Street, SE. As the vehicle began driving toward R/O, R/O and the Assisting Officer conducted a felony stop and detained the Suspect and Passenger. During the investigation, the Suspect admitted she had just purchased the vehicle. USCP Communications confirmed the vehicle was stolen. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) | 13:30:00 | 220904001342 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION; POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE R/O responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of First and Quander Streets, SE. A/O was already on scene assisting an individual on the ground in front of a vehicle. A/O attempted to move the individual's backpack when he was advised that there was a fully-loaded firearm inside. The A/O maintained control of the backpack and, after acquiring permission, R/O opened the backpack and observed a carrying case with a firearm logo on the top. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not possess a concealed carry permit out of the District of Columbia. CSS responded to the scene and took control of the backpack, which contained a firearm carrying case, a firearm, and two 10-round magazines with a total of 20 rounds of ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Upon speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed the Suspect with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a revoked permit status through the District of Columbia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) | 02:53:00 | 220903001337 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTRIED FIREARM R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 500 block of South Capitol Street, SW. The driver continued through a red light at the intersection of Washington Avenue and D Street, SW, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into the wall at the northbound Third Street Tunnel on-ramp. R/O approached the Suspect, and detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a canceled Maryland driver's license with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O conducted a search of the vehicle and located a firearm on the driver's seat. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 20:49:00 | 220902001336 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; TRAFFIC - PERMIT NO VALID; POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUSBTANCE; POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL R/O observed a vehicle traveling slowly in the 400 block of First Street, NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag belonged to another vehicle and had expired. The Suspect had an expired District of Columbia driver's license with no status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting a search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a cigarette with green and beige substance consistent with PCP, and an open jug with an odor consistent with alcohol. CSS responded and processed the scene. |
