The Suspect refused SFTSs, but due to the numerous physical and visual clues of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of South Capitol Street, SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the search incident to arrest, R/O observed a cup in the center console that contained a liquid with an odor consistent with that of an alcoholic beverage. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was suspended through Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the search incident to arrest, R/O discovered several plastic baggies containing a white, powdery substance. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
UCSA - PWID MARIJUANA - FELONY | 13:25:00 | 2202100000185 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle illegally parked in a Library of Congress permit-only space in the 100 block of East Capitol Street. Upon approach, R/O observed a large amount of a green, leafy substance along with various other drugs next to the Suspect inside of the vehicle. R/O conducted a stop, and a WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect. The check revealed the license plates belonged to a different vehicle, and the Suspect's license was suspended through Florida with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A field test of the green, leafy substance returned positive for THC. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
