SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404 15:30:00 220610000792 R/O responded to the unit block of Independence Avenue, SE, for the report of an altercation in a vehicle. Upon arrival, R/O-2 conducted a traffic stop at the same location. R/O-2 advised that they witnessed the Suspect assault the driver. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:09:00 220608000780 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SE, with a flat front tire. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 05:08:00 220602000755 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE; POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL- POCA R/O observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations while traveling southbound in the 400 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A traffic stop was initiated in the 200 block of Constitution Avenue, NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. The Suspect refused to complete SFSTs. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O conducted an inventory search of the vehicle and found a half-full bottle of an alcohol beverage. While processing the Suspect, R/O discovered a clear, plastic bag that contained a white, powder substance in the Suspect's possession, which later tested positive for Cocaine. CSS responded and processed the scene.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT 05:18:00 220602000756 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR; SIMPLE ASSAULT; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O responded to the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW, for an assault investigation in which the Suspect struck another individual. As the Suspect was retrieving identification from her purse, R/O observed a glass vile containing a liquid substance, and smelled a chemical odor consistent with PCP. While attempting to place the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect became combative, and subsequently spat on R/O-2. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active warrant out of Virginia. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 09:47:00 220601000751 R/O observed a vehicle with a brake light out traveling southbound in the 100 block of Third Street, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Third Street, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia, and a suspended status in Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 20:52:00 220531000750 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Columbus Circle, NE, displaying expired tags. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the expired tags belonged to a different vehicle, and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 07:24:00 220530000740 ADDITION CHARGE: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O observed that the Suspect was unconscious in the driver's seat of his vehicle at the intersection of Fourth and C Streets, NE. After waking the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed an open bottle of alcohol behind the driver's seat. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 05:06:00 220530000738 R/O observed the Suspect parking his vehicle in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SE, then exit the vehicle. R/O initiated a contact in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's California identification card was conducted, and revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 23:52:00 2205290734 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lane of the unit block of Third Street, NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of Third Street, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's license was suspended through the State of New York, with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY 10:15:00 220527000726 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PERMIT - NO VALID; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle from an LPR hit stopped at the intersection of Second Street and Independence Avenue, SE. R/O conducted a rolling tag check confirming that the vehicle was stolen. The Suspect parked and exited the vehicle in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, and was taken into custody by R/O. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect did not have a valid license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, and was subject to an active extraditable warrant issued by the U.S. Marshals Service. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
