The Suspect climbed the Mountain and Cloud Statue and refused to come down. While on the statue the Suspect hung two banners utilizing metal clips causing damage to the statue. Once the Suspect came down from the statue, they were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded and processed the scene. | |

The Suspect was given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspect also refused to comply with demands to drop the sign and it had to be forcefully removed. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION | DCC 7DC2506.1 | 23:26:00 | 2.31209E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle proceed through a red traffic signal and strike a curb at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. SFST's were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located a Glock magazine with nine rounds located in a backpack in an exterior pocket behind the driver seat. A/O responded and processed the scene. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check via USCP Communications of the tag came back to a different vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle the Suspect was driving was not registered in DC, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check, which confirmed the tag was expired and revealed it was reported as stolen from another vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the individual had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION | DCC 7DC2506.01 | 21:25:00 | 2.31207E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle sit through two full light cycles at the intersection of Louisiana and Constitution Avenues NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. The Suspect climbed out of the sunroof and refused to comply with R/O's verbal commands. Once the Suspect was removed from the roof of the vehicle, A/O-1 was called for SFSTs but they were not conducted due to safety reasons. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a fully loaded magazine and extra ammunition rounds were found. S/A was notified. | |

The Complainant stated an orchid plant was missing and believed to have been taken from the building. The plant was last seen approximately 24 hours before its absence was noticed. S/A was advised and will continue to investigate. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Arlington County, Virginia. During the course of the stop, R/O observed a moderate smell of alcohol emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (AGGRAVATED ASSAULT). ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UNLAWFUL ENTRY RESISTING ARREST | 13:51:00 | 2.31207E+11 | R/O observed the Suspect in an unauthorized area of the Library of Congress Little Scholars Child Development Center. Upon questioning, R/O learned the Suspect was there to meet with their mother, who is an employee at the facility. R/O advised the Suspect to leave the area and wait for their mother on the street level. The Suspect then attempted to push their way past R/O causing them both to fall to the ground. R/O was able to detain the Suspect on the ground until additional units arrived. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. S/A was notified. |
