No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D). ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Loaning Registration, Misuse Of Temporary Tags | 15:39:00 2.31206E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with no front tag traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the rear tag returned not on file. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES 19:18:00 2.31205E+11 R/O responded to House Parking for an individual who was in possession of a firearm. Once on scene, the Suspect advised that they had a firearm in their bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the Suspect's wallet did not reveal a District of Columbia Concealed Carry Permit, but did reveal an Ohio State Concealed Firearm Permit, and an expired Maryland Handgun Permit. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded and processed the scene, and recovered a .40 caliber pistol inside the Suspect's bag. S/A conducted an interview of the Suspect who revealed that they had a concealed carry permit through the District of Columbia. The Metropolitan Police Department Gun Registration Unit was notified, confirmed the Suspect had a valid District of Columbia Concealed Carry Permit, and that the firearm was registered.
THEFT II 09:00:00 2.31205E+11 R/O responded to the Dirksen Senate Office Building for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant reported that their iPhone 13 was left in the supply closet within the office approximately three to four weeks ago. When the Complainant returned on December 5, 2023, the phone was missing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID 02:01:00 2.31205E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired temporary North Carolina registration traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of the state of New York, and no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ALLOW OPERATION WITH IMPROPER TAGS POSSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL. 21:49:00 2.31205E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that failed to display registration stickers on the rear tag, and travelled southbound in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that the tag was registered to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located seven empty beer cans in a plastic bag behind the driver's seat, and one empty can located in the center console.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT & RUN 16:01:00 2.31205E+11 R/O travelled westbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW and observed a vehicle that displayed a Virginia temporary tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were registered to a different vehicle. R/O attempted a traffic stop at New Jersey Avenue NW, but the Suspect vehicle fled, and struck two vehicles in the process. The Suspect's vehicle was last seen as it travelled eastbound in the Unit Block of H Street NE. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID 20:16:00 2.31205E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that travelled southbound in the northbound lane in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect reveal no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID. TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS 13:03:00 2.31205E+11 R/O conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying an invalid tag, in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag was expired and the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS | DCMR 18DCMR1101.1 15:40:00 2.31204E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with suspected counterfeit temporary tags in the 600 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag returned as not on file. Additionally a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT DCC50DC1401.01(D) 14:49:00 2.31204E+11 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal U-turn at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
