SIMPLE ASSAULT 09:26:00 231119002686 R/O was approached by the Complainant at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Second Street SE. The Complainant stated that he observed the Suspect push his wife off her bike in the 200 Block of Second Street SE. The Suspect was last seen heading eastbound in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A canvas of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. CIS will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | DCC 50DC2206.11 + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PERMIT-FAIL TO EXHIBIT TRAFFIC-PERMIT-NO VALID POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – MISD 12:29:00 231119002684 R/O observed a vehicle passed the painted threshold at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed them to be expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, watery/glassy eyes and an open container of alcohol in the center console of the vehicle. The Suspect failed to provide R/O with a drivers license and a WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. A/O conducted SFSTs, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An administrative search of the Suspect was conducted at Headquarters and a drug consistent with MDMA was located in the Suspects front right pocket. CSS responded and processed the evidence.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE + ADDITITIONAL CHARGE: RECEIEVING STOLEN PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE 16:01:00 231118002682 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle traveling southbound in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted on the Frederick Douglas Bridge and South Capitol Street. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle through USCP Communications confirmed the vehicle was stolen out of Greenville, North Carolina. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 03:52:00 231118002680 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW displaying a Texas buyer tag. A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the tag revealed no record. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O approached the Suspect and could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted on the Suspect. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | DCC 23DC701 13:41:00 231117002673 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW with extremely dark tint. RO conducted a traffic stop in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant issued by Maryland State Police for failure to appear. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID 22:03:00 231117002679 R/O observed a vehicle with heavy front end damage and no front tag in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Virginia, with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID 11:30:00 231117002671 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE with an expired registration. RO conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's Pennsylvania license was expired with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) 2015 | DCC 22DC4504(A)-Y-3 + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FAILURE TO APPEAR (OAG) | USC 23DUSC01327 | DCC 23DC703 | DCC 13DC1327 DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF | DCC 50DC2201.05 05:28:00 231116002656 R/O observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the street in the 600 Block of South Carolina Avenue SE. R/O approached the vehicle and found an unconscious individual in the driver seat. After Narcan was administered by D.C. Fire, the Suspect regained consciousness. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Additionally, the check revealed an active Bench Warrant out of DC District Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O located a firearm in the driver's side door compartment. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified, and conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, which revealed the firearm was unregistered and they did not possess a license to carry firearms in the District of Columbia.
DEFACING GOVERMENT PROPERTY 19:56:00 231116002668 R/O responded to the 200 Block of C Street SE for a report of defacing of government property. Upon arrival, R/O observed a sign located outside of the building vandalized by what appeared to be a marker. A search of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (MISDEMEANOR) + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: ASSAULT-SIMPLE-MISDEMEANOR 19:40:00 231115002655 R/O responded to the Democratic National Headquarters for the report of a large group of demonstrators that was blocking entrances and trying to gain entry into the building. While on scene, R/O witnessed the Suspect slam and strike an officer in the face, causing them to fall to the ground. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
