TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:42:00 220105000019 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 400 block of Second Street, NE, with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 13:51:00 220104000014 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE R/O responded to the 100 block of Maryland Avenue, SW, for the report of an intoxicated individual. Upon arrival, R/O-2 made contact with an individual fitting the description sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehicle. R/O ordered the Suspect to turn off the vehicle; the Suspect refused to comply. R/O-2 detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect breath and person. The Suspect refused to perform SFSTs, was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. Upon inventory search of the vehicle, multiple bottles of alcohol were found in various locations throughout the vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 21:00:00 220104000015 R/O was dispatched to the unit block of D Street, SE, for a call of an unauthorized individual in the residence. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect sitting in the vestibule. After further investigation, it was determined that the Suspect did not reside at the residence or have permission by the owner to be there. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) 22:16:00 220104000016 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: SIMPLE ASSAULT; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION R/O responded to the unit block of E Street, SE, for the report of a woman screaming. R/O-2 advised when he approached the vehicle that he made contact with the Victim, who displayed visible signs of injury, and stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with the Suspect. R/O-3 secured the Suspect and recovered a loaded firearm with eight rounds of ammunition from his jacket pocket. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a valid District of Columbia Identification Card with no driving status. R/O also observed an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 00:46:00 220102000005 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations from South Capitol and I Streets, SE, to the 500 block of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of North Capitol Street. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:28:00 220101000001 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RESISTING ARREST R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed heading southbound in the unit block of Third Street, SW, nearly strike their police cruiser. The same vehicle then drove in the wrong direction in the 400 block of Second Street, SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Second Street, SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were attempted, but the Suspect was not compliant. Due to several signs of impairment, the smell of alcohol, and the Suspect's combative behavior, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ASSAULT-SIMPLE - MISD DC CODE 22-404 11:38:00 211231001928 R/O responded to the West Front of the U.S. Capitol Building for the report of an assault. R/O located the Suspect and Victim together on the West Front. During the investigation, the Suspect admitted to striking the Victim in the face. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 15:51:00 211229001922 R/O observed the Suspect, sitting on a wall in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, putting a substance into rolling paper. Upon approach, R/O observed what appeared to be a green, leafy substance in the rolling paper. A stop and WALES/NCIC check were conducted, and an active extraditable warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BURGLARY II - FELONY 16:53:00 211229001923 R/Os responded to the 200 block of Third Street, NE, for a report of a Burglary. Upon arrival, R/O observed a ladder upright directly below the second story window of the residence and spoke with witnesses who gave a description of the Suspect. After making entry into the residence, R/Os made contact with an individual matching the description the Witnesses gave. A show up was conducted, and a positive identification of the Suspect was made. During the investigation, the Suspect admitted to breaking into the residence. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 02:29:00 211228001917 R/O observed a vehicle with a broken taillight traveling eastbound in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle's tags had been surrendered, and the Suspect's license had been suspended in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
