THEFT II 03:53:00 230404000679 R/O responded to the 100 Block of F Street NE for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant informed R/O that a tool kit containing tools and equipment valued at approximately $800.00 was discovered missing from the panel utility door of their work vehicle. The items were last seen earlier in the night. A search of the area was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. 12:50:00 230403000672 R/O responded to the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW to assist with a traffic accident. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, who was driving a vehicle involved in the accident, revealed the individual had no valid operator's permit issued through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, the Suspect admitted to being under the influence of methadone to A/O-1. A/O-2 conducted SFSTs, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect incurred an additional charge.
POSS MARIJUANA- FEDERAL 22-844A 11:08:00 230403000670 R/O was conducting routine security screening at the Lower Independence Avenue Door of a House Office Building when the Suspect set off an audible alarm while walking through the magnetometer. R/O conducted an administrative search of the Suspect and located a clear, plastic vial containing two marijuana cigarettes. A/O responded to process the scene. A further search of the Suspect's belongings revealed a clear plastic bag containing additional marijuana. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 22:21:00 230402000665 R/O observed a vehicle commit a moving violation in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed the Suspect's eyes were watery and glassy. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a cup filled a quarter of the way with what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage.
FLEEING FROM A POLICE OFF-FELONY DC50-2201.05b(b)2. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE TRAFFIC -DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. 00:43:00 230401000658 R/O observed a vehicle driving with a flat rear tire and hazard lights on in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was attempted at the same location. The suspect eventually stopped at Second Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. The Suspect exited the vehicle twice in which R/O gave verbal commands to get back inside the vehicle. The suspect did not comply and immediately began running northbound in the 400 Block of Second Street NE. A/O-1 and A/O-2 entered the alleyway of Third Street NE from Capitol Court to seal off the Suspect's means of escape. Witnesses pointed that the Suspect was running westbound in the 200 Block of F Street NE. Shortly after, an apprehension was made in the same location. R/O could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed two active warrants held by Prince Georges County Sherriff's Office. The warrants were confirmed and the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. SFST's were conducted in the USCP processing area.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 07:26:00 230331000649 R/O observed a vehicle driving with a flat tire in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's permit was revoked in Virginia and no status in the District of the Columbia and Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 10:50:00 230331000651 R/O observed a vehicle travel through a solid red traffic light at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's permit was expired in the District of the Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS BENCH WARRANT - MISDEMEANOR. 14:51:00 230331000654 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE displaying a damaged rear paper tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag returned to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The check also revealed the Suspect had an active warrant through the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID BENCH WARRANT-MISD 10:31:00 230329000621 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 1000 Block of South Capitol Street SE with a temporary registration covered by a tinted tag cover. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check which revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of I Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the VIN determined the vehicle was stolen. Additionally, the check revealed the Suspect's permit was suspended in Maryland with no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia and the Suspect has an active Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear issued by the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded to process the scene.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD 10:00:00 230329009003 R/O responded to the 200 Block of D Street SW for a report of an Unlawful Entry of a motor vehicle. The Complainant stated as they were leaving work, they noticed that the driver's side door was opened. A/O was called to the scene and confirmed R/O's information. The Complainant advised A/O that there was no property damage and nothing in the vehicle was misplaced or missing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
