A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid District of Columbia operator's permit with no status in Virginia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the Suspect's vehicle and person. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid license through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. As the Suspect was being placed into the transport vehicle, he began to actively resist and refused to enter the vehicle. During the vehicle inventory search, R/O observed a container with a brown liquid having an odor consistent with that of alcohol. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
