THEFT II-FROM OFFICE 14:00:00 230309000432 R/O responded to a House Office Building for a report of stolen property. The Complainants stated that several tools were discovered missing. A search of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 12:04:00 230309000428 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Independence Avenue SE with expired tags. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle's registration was expired and the Suspect's driver's license was suspended through Virginia with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 14:39:00 230308000417 Officers observed multiple people at the intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue, NE, obstructing all lanes of traffic, chanting and holding signs. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to stop. R/O responded to process the scene. The Suspects were placed under arrest and processed on scene.
DEFACING PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY - MISD 13:57:00 230308000418 R/O observed the suspect painting words on the sidewalk along the East curb of First Street near 1 Constitution Avenue, NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded to process the scene.
THEFT II 18:29:00 230308000421 R/O responded to a call for the theft of a scooter at the 100 Block of First Street, SE. The Complainant stated she had parked her scooter at the bike rack around 1600 hours. When the Complainant returned the scooter was gone. Attempts to locate the Suspect were met with negative results.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 16:08:00 230307000402 R/O observed a vehicle with heavy front-end damage and no front tag traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle rear tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. Additionally, the Suspect had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
STALKING. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE CARRY DANGEROUS WEAPON-FELONY UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 12:19:00 230307000392 S/A-1 and S/A-2 responded to the 700 Block of 6th Street, SE regarding a stalking investigation. Upon arrival, R/O confirmed the Suspect entered the Complainant's residence without permission. The Agents and Assisting Officers entered the residence and placed the Suspect under arrest. R/O asked the Suspect if he was armed and he replied he had a firearm inside of his vehicle. The Suspect gave consent to search his vehicle. A/O-1, A/O-2, and A/O-3 responded and processed both the residence and the vehicle. The search of the vehicle revealed a rifle, three large capacity magazines, and several hundred rounds of ammunition. An inquiry from the MPD Gun Registration Unit revealed the Suspect did not have a license to carry, nor was the weapon registered, in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:12:00 230306000386 R/O was travelling in the 200 Block of Constitution Avenue, NW and heard a loud crash. R/O observed a vehicle on the sidewalk in the Unit Block of Third Street, NW, and a destroyed traffic pole lying next to the vehicle. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O noticed signs of intoxication or drugs. SFST's were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY 17:18:00 230306000390 R/O observed a vehicle that matched a lookout for a stolen vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed it was stolen out of Prince George's County Maryland. While R/O was stopped directly behind the vehicle in the 300 Block of D Street SE, the vehicle fled, and struck four other vehicles. The Suspect then fled from the vehicle and ran northbound on Fourth Street, SE. R/O stopped the Suspect in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT 10DC 503.16 10:06:00 230306000388 R/O observed a vehicle idling in the no stopping zone in the Unit Block of First Street, NE. The Suspect stated they were a former law enforcement officer and that they were armed. The Suspect provided a driver's license, District of Columbia concealed carry permit, and a District of Columbia firearms registration card. A check of the District of Columbia concealed carry permit and District of Columbia firearms registration revealed they matched the firearm in the Suspect's possession. S/A-1 and S/A-2 responded and will continue to investigate. A/O responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
