CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 11:34:00 220117000058 R/O observed multiple Suspects chanting, standing in the roadway, and blocking the flow of traffic in the eastbound lanes of Constitution Avenue between First and Second Streets, NE. The Suspects were warned to stop and desist with their unlawful demonstration activities, but they refused to do so. Eleven Suspects were placed under arrest and processed on the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:54:00 22116000056 R/O observed a vehicle in the 400 block of Washington Avenue, SW, turning its headlights on and off as if to get the R/O's attention. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that the tags were expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Capitol Street, SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled odors of an alcoholic beverage and marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 04:56:00 220115000055 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red light at the intersection of Second Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled odors of an alcoholic beverage and marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 02:01:00 220115000054 While on patrol, R/O observed a vehicle in the 400 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tags were expired. A traffic stop was initiated in the unit block of C Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a DC identification card with no driving status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE - FELONY 21:55:00 220113000051 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; UNREG FIREARM - MISD; ALTERING IDENTIFY MARKS OF A WEAPON; UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION R/O observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag revealed a look-out from the Metropolitan Police Department for the vehicle involved in a Simple Assault. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid driver's license in the District of Columbia, and a non-extraditable warrant out of Arlington County, Virginia. While conducting an inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, a loaded weapon with the serial number scratched off was found in the Suspect's jacket on the rear passenger seat. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 11:07:00 22011300046 R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired tags traveling westbound in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's license was expired in Virginia with no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON (DCMR) 15:30:00 220112000041 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION/TRANSPORTATION OF A SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM - MISDEMEANOR (X2) R/Os responded to Headquarters to speak to an individual that reported she had information regarding the siege of the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021. During the voluntary, noncustodial interview, the Suspect pointed to her vehicle. R/O observed said vehicle illegally parked in front of Headquarters, and could see cases typically used to transport firearms. The Suspect confirmed there were firearms in the vehicle. CSS recovered three firearms, a pellet gun, and ammunition. R/O placed the Suspect under arrest and transported her to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 20:56:00 220112000044 R/O observed a vehicle failing to maintain lanes while traveling westbound at the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:29:00 220109000033 R/O observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations beginning in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of E Street, NW. While talking with the Suspect, R/O noticed that the Suspect's speech was slow and slurred. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 11:23:00 220107000026 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O responded to the 500 block of South Capitol Street, SE, to assist R/O-1 with a vehicle observed sitting through several light cycles at South Capitol and E Streets, SE. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect leaning against the vehicle for balance, and an open container of an alcoholic beverage in the center console cup holder. During the investigation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
