A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of Fifth Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle was stolen and revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. R/O-1 and R/O-2 responded to process the scene. S/A was notified. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted at that same location. Upon approach, R/O observed a paper temporary tag taped to the rear window of the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag displayed was not registered to that vehicle. During the traffic stop, the Suspect failed to produce a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit through Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SE. Upon request, the Suspect failed to produce a physical driver's license on the scene. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect did not have a valid permit issued through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. While speaking with the Suspect, A/O detected a moderate odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the vehicle inventory, A/O observed several open containers of what appeared to be alcoholic beverages. | |

R/O observed an open bottle consistent with that of alcohol wedged between the driver's seat and door. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
