TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:38:00 220504000593 R/O observed a vehicle driving aggressively in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the registration was expired, and the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:20:00 220502000570 R/O observed a vehicle operating southbound on North Capitol Street, NW, when the vehicle passed a red signal at Louisiana Avenue, NW. A traffic stop was initiated in the unit block of Louisiana Avenue, NW. Upon approach, R/O was met with a cloud of smoke consistent with marijuana emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 19:04:00 220430000567 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: FAILURE TO APPEAR R/O observed an individual walking eastbound in the unit block of K Street, NE, matching the description of a look-out. R/O conducted a stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the Suspect had two outstanding warrants out of the District of Columbia, and a warrant out of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, for Failure to Appear. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:14:00 220430000565 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT NO VALID; POSSESSION OF PROHIBITED WEAPON R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 block of E Street, NW, pass through a red traffic signal. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of New Jersey Avenue, NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect's speech and movements were extremely slow. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a disqualified Commercial Driver's License in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. During the search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a switchblade in the Suspect's left pocket. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 23:40:00 220429000564 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound on New Jersey Avenue, SE, pass through a red traffic signal. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Eye Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's registration revealed it was expired, the tags had been surrendered, and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 12:35:00 220427000546 R/O was approached by a Suspect on the Rotunda steps of the United States Capitol Building advising that they wanted to be arrested. After refusing to follow verbal commands and crossing the police line, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:06:00 220425000532 R/O was traveling in the 100 block of Fifth Street, NE, when he observed a vehicle with expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag to be expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 11:29:00 220425000530 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 300 block of Second Street, NE, displaying an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Second Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the tag was expired, and revealed the Suspect did not have a valid driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 19:19:14 220423000524 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 R/O, while on patrol, observed an individual attempting to push past restaurant staff in order to gain entry into a restaurant located in the unit block of F Street, NW. Upon arrival, R/O detained the Suspect while R/O-2 spoke with the Complainant. The Complainant observed the Suspect pick up a glass and throw it on the ground causing it to break. Due to the Suspect having an active barring notice from the restaurant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:55:00 220423000522 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL R/O responded to the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street, NW, for the reported sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, R/O observed a vehicle off the roadway in the unit block of D Street, NW, and the Suspect standing outside of the vehicle. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O recovered a partially-full tequila bottle in the backseat on the passenger-side floorboard.
