A show-up was conducted in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, where multiple Victims positively identified the Suspect. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at Columbus Circle and First Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a felony warrant out of Maryland. The contents in the pipe were consistent with the characteristics of Marijuana. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of Virginia for larceny. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY DC CODE 22-405 | 15:29:00 | 220706000989 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ADW - OTHER WEAPON (MOLOTOV COCKTAIL); POSSESSION OF A DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; RESISTING ARREST R/Os responded to the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NW, for a report of a male with a Molotov cocktail. R/Os arrived on scene and observed the Suspect attempting to ignite a glass bottle containing a colored liquid with a piece of white cloth stuffed into the bottle's opening. Upon approach, the Suspect refused all verbal commands, and attempted to flee westbound on Massachusetts Avenue away from the Officers. The Suspect became violently combative, and both R/Os were bitten during the arrest. During the search incident to arrest, a two-liter soda bottle with translucent liquid consistent with the appearance and odor of gasoline were found inside the Suspect's bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

During the traffic crash investigation, the Suspect advised R/O that there was a handgun on the vehicle's center console in plain view. R/O observed a black, holstered handgun in that location. Multiple rounds of ammunition and a large capacity magazine were also discovered in the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O observed the Suspect unconscious behind the wheel. While attempting to rouse the Suspect, R/O observed an alcoholic beverage on the passenger seat. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

Upon arrival, R/O observed a piece of white fabric on fire in the roadway. Surveillance video identified two Suspects who were involved. A lookout was broadcast for the Suspects. Both Suspects were located, placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Capitol Street, NW. Upon approach, R/O observed smoke coming from the vehicle, and detected an odor consistent with cannabis. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid driver's license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Suspects were warned to cease and desist with their unlawful demonstration activities, but they failed to stop. One hundred eighty-one Suspects were placed under arrest and processed on scene. CSS responded and processed the scene. |
