The Suspect stopped his vehicle in the same location and requested to speak to a supervisor. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-FAIL TO EXHIBIT + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FLEEING FROM POLICE OFF - MISD FAILURE TO OBEY POLICE OFFICER TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS | 00:20:00 | 230620001433 | R/O observed a mechanically unsafe vehicle traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag came back as not on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's driver's license revealed it was expired through the District of Columbia with no valid status through Maryland or Virginia. Further investigation of the vehicle's tags revealed it had been altered. R/O instructed the Suspect to shut the car off. The Suspect placed the vehicle in drive and ignored R/O's commands to stop. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound in the I395 Third Street Tunnel. CIS was notified for further investigation. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of First Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid permit through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: ADW - OTHER WEAPON | 21:09:00 | 230616001419 | R/O responded to the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW for the report of a man with a knife. Upon arrival, R/O met with the Complainant who stated the Suspect damaged the tire of his vehicle with a knife and made a threatening motion toward him while holding the knife. The Suspect fled the scene. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

Once on the scene, R/O spoke with the Complainant who stated an unknown Suspect cut off branches to two trees in the outer garden. A search for the Suspect was met with negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 08:56:00 | 230615001396 | CIS responded to a USCP Building to assist an MPD officer with serving a Suspect with legal documents. R/O had prior knowledge that the Suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant. A WALES/NCIC inquiry confirmed the Suspect has an extraditable arrest warrant out of Prince Georges County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD | 20:25:00 | 230615001408 | R/O responded to the 600 Block of South Capitol Street for the report of a vehicle with two broken windows. Upon arrival, the Complainant stated they parked on the lot earlier in the day, with no damage to their vehicle. When the Complainant returned to their vehicle, the two passenger side windows were shattered. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. |
