DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | DCC 50DC2206.11 02:08:00 2.31217E+11 R/O observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O then observed the vehicle make a right turn on a red arrow signal at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Louisiana Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. Upon approach, the Suspect was talked in a low mumble, and referenced having just left a party where drugs had been consumed. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 23:34:00 2.31218E+11 R/O observed a vehicle travelling the opposite direction of traffic in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. (ks)
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 03:51:00 2.31217E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that travelled southbound in the northbound lanes in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O noticed the Suspect had slurred speech, and their eyes were glassy, and slightly red . SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 00:54:00 2.31217E+11 R/O responded for the report of a vehicle crash in the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. Upon approach to the striking vehicle, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the Suspect's mouth. SFSTs were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ALLOW OPERATION W/IMPORPER TAGS | DCC 50DC1501.04A2 UNLAWFUL POSS AMMUNITION| DCC 7DC2506.01(A) | DCC 7DC2506.01 20:56:00 2.31216E+11 R/O observed a vehicle matching a look out from a License Plate Reader for a stolen vehicle in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Seventh Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle was unregistered, and that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an unregistered box of ammunition was discovered inside the Suspect's backpack.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 19:17:00 2.31216E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that displayed expired tags, and travelled eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 21:03:00 2.31215E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be improper tags traveling northbound in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a canceled permit out of the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II 05:00:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the Longworth House Office Building for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant reported that their tools were left in their locker on December 11, 2023. When the Complainant returned on December 15, 2023, the tools were missing. A/O responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 11:38:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the Capitol Office to take a theft report. Upon arrival, R/O was informed by the Complainant, that on December 14, 2023 between 1000 and 1400 hours, an unknown Suspect stole a plant from the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory Building. There was no video surveillance of the theft. A/O photographed and processed the scene. Crime Scene was notified.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 02:09:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW for a welfare check on a vehicle. While speaking with the driver, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
