A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland, with no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. Additionally, the Suspect had an active warrant out of Harford County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. S/A responded and will continue to investigate. | |

A Credit Union employee contacted the Complainant regarding the check. The Complainant advised they did not write the check. The Suspect left the scene prior to R/O's arrival. When arriving on scene, the officers observed a vehicle on the sidewalk with major front-end damage that resulted in airbag deployment. Upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle, R/O-1 noticed the individual had glassy, bloodshot eyes and a slow, slurred speech pattern. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT & RUN | 10:49:00 | 230512001056 | R/O responded to the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE for a report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, R/O was advised a passenger bus struck the Complainant's vehicle and then continued driving eastbound on Independence Avenue. Evidence of the collision was found on the rear drivers side door of the Complainant's vehicle. CIS was advised of the incident and will continue to investigate. |
