ROBBERY - FELONY 19:46:00 230721001717 R/O was flagged down in the 100 Block of D Street, SE. for an armed robbery report. The Complainant advised R/O, while at the intersection of Third and C Streets, SE., the Suspect approached them, displayed a handgun and demanded their phone. The Suspect fled the area and did not obtain possession of the phone. A search of the area was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT II-FROM AUTO. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ADW - GUN 23:49:00 230722001718 R/O was flagged down in the 100 Block of E Street NW for a theft. The Complainants advised R/O that the Suspects approached them and demanded their scooter. When the Complainants refused to give up their scooter, the Suspects displayed a handgun and then physically assaulted them. The Suspects fled the area and did not obtain possession of the scooter. A search of the area was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
PPW-A - MISD 15:06:00 230720001702 R/O observed a bag containing a possible prohibited weapon on the X-ray monitor of the Lower Independence Avenue Door of a House Office Building. R/O confirmed the item to be a switchblade during a physical check of the bag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT II 08:10:00 230720001704 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for a bicycle theft report. The Complainant stated he locked his bicycle to the bike rack on the corner of Delaware Avenue and C Street NE around 0810 hours. When the Complainant returned, the bicycle was missing. A search of the area was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
PPW-B - MISD. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE. 01:10:00 230720001693 R/O responded to a priority call for a welfare check at First Street and Maryland Avenue NE. Upon arrival, R/O observed an individual laying on the sidewalk. After several attempts of trying to sit and stand the Suspect upright, the Suspect attempted to run. A/O-1 tackled the Suspect and R/O felt something hard in the Suspect's bag, which was later identified as a Glock-19 BB gun. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-2 responded and recovered the weapon.
CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 13:02:00 230719001684 R/O observed multiple Suspects chanting loudly and walking through the Rayburn House Office Building. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404 + ADDITONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE PPW-B - MISD 11:11:00 230719001683 R/O responded to Columbus Circle NE in front of Union Station in reference to a subject who was being aggressive and possibly armed. Upon arrival R/O observed the Suspect to be in possession of a knife in their right front pocket. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had two extraditable warrants out of Fairfax County, Virginia and Metro Transit Police. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
SEXUAL ABUSE 08:50:00 230719001681 R/O responded to Union Station for the report of a sexual assault. The Complainant stated to R/O, while walking in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE, an unknown Suspect grabbed the complainant's buttocks and fled the scene. A lookout was broadcast, and a canvass of the area was conducted with negative results. CID responded to the scene for an interview and will continue to investigate.
UUV - FELONY + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING RECKLESS DRIVING DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY 13:22:00 230717001662 R/O was traveling in the Unit Block of H Street NE when he observed a vehicle that hit on the license plate reader as a stolen vehicle. R/O initiated a WALES/NCIC check, which confirmed the vehicle was stolen out of Fairfax County, Virginia. R/O attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 400 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW at which time the Suspects fled at a high rate of speed striking a vehicle, running over a curb, a tree, and a sign. A/O located the vehicle unoccupied in the 400 Block of New York Avenue NW. A search for the Suspects was met with negative results. CSS responded, and processed the scene. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 02:27:00 230717001659 R/O observed a vehicle with no headlights or taillights illuminated traveling westbound in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a driver's license issued through North Carolina, with no valid status through the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
