A tag check of the vehicle in WALES/NCIC revealed that the tags did not belong to the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage and a Glock Model 23 handgun equipped with a twenty-two round high-capacity magazine. The magazine contained nineteen rounds, with one in the chamber, inserted into the magazine well. A check through the District of Columbia Gun Registration Unit revealed that the Suspect does not have a valid license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's Maryland permit was suspended with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. R/O established contact with the Complainant who stated three masked individuals exited a silver sedan and threw bricks at their front porch, which damaged the porch's front railing and a window screen. The incident was captured on security footage. Attempts to locate the Suspects in the surrounding area met with negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. USCP Hazardous Devices & Materials team responded to inspect the vehicle with negative results. The Suspect transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect.
