UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 17:30:00 220418000503 R/O was dispatched to the Library of Congress James Madison Building for the report of an individual claiming to be holding himself hostage. The Suspect was found sitting on a bench inside the Independence Avenue door behind the screening area. R/O ordered the Suspect to leave the building numerous times. After failing to leave, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSS OPEN CONTAINER ALCOHOL - POCA 20:14:00 220417000499 R/O observed an individual in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with a bottle of wine in his hand. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O detected a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed two non-extraditable warrants. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:01:00 220417000497 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Washington Avenue, SW, commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of marijuana and an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and the Suspect. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 05:55:00 220417000498 R/O observed a vehicle at South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue, SW, commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Second Street, SW. While speaking with R/O, the Suspect admitted to having consumed an alcoholic beverage before operating their vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT -OPERATING AFTER SUSPENSION 02:15:00 220416000493 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags were surrendered, and the Suspect had a suspended District of Columbia license. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 01:48:00 220412000474 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: COUNTERFEIT TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed southbound in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW, with no tag displayed. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the temporary tag displayed in the front windshield was not on file, and the Suspect had no driver's license status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UCSA - POSSESSION (OTHER) 10:58:00 220412000476 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF A BB GUN; TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with expired rear tags displayed. A traffic stop was conducted in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O discovered the expired tags belonged to a different vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid tags, and was not licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Upon an inventory search of the Suspect, R/O discovered a pack of cigarettes with a glass pipe protruding from the side, and a baggie containing a white, powdery substance. R/O conducted a vehicle inventory and discovered a black, inoperable Glock 19 BB gun between the driver's seat and center console. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. Test results of the white, powdery substance were positive for Fentanyl.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 21:00:00 220411000472 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 300 block of M Street, SE, brake, change lanes, and begin to follow R/O. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of M Street, SW, and a WALES/NCIC check revealed the tags belonged to another vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed they had a suspended driver's permit out of Virginia, with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS 17:53:00 220410000464 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RECIEVING STOLEN PROPERTY - $1000 AND OVER - FELONY; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound from South Capitol and I Street, SE, matching the description of a stolen vehicle from an LPR hit. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Suitland Parkway. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that the VIN on file did not match the vehicle, and that the license plate was confirmed stolen through USCP Communications. A WALES/NCIC check of the Driver revealed that the Suspect had no wants or warrants. A WALES/NCIC check of the Passenger revealed that the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Calvert County, Maryland, which was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:05:00 220409000459 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O responded to the intersection of Second and East Capitol Streets, NE, for the report of a traffic accident with injuries. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. The Suspect refused an SFST, and due to injuries, no other SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and later transported to Headquarters for processing. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it belonged to a different vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene.
