TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID +ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 00:35:00 231102000000 R/O observed a vehicle without a visible rear tag traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's permit status was revoked in Virginia, with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. Additionally, the Suspect had an active, extraditable warrant out of Fairfax County, VA. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THREATS TO INJURE-FEL0NY 16:57:00 231102000000 R/O was dispatched to the 300 Block of First Street SE for an individual potentially possessing a weapon. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect's vehicle blocking both lanes of traffic. The Complainant stated to R/O, the Suspect was driving aggressively for several blocks before blocking the Complainant's path at First Street SE. The Complainant and several Witnesses stated the Suspect opened his driver side door and shouted to the Complainant that they had a gun and would shoot the Complainant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded to process the scene.
THEFT II 11:40:00 231102000000 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant reported that two headphones were left in a room on October 31, at approximately 1830 hours. When the Complainant returned on November 1, the headphones were gone. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 15:59:00 231101002550 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear tag displayed travelling westbound in the 100 Block of D Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was suspended out of Maryland, with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 10:31:00 231031002531 R/O and A/O observed the Suspects displaying signs and yelling during a committee hearing in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The Suspects were warned to cease and desist their demonstration activity but they refused to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $1000 15:15:00 231031002533 R/O was alerted to an LPR hit for a stolen vehicle at Third Street and Independence Avenue SW. A/O-1 located the vehicle in the Unit Block of I Street SW and the Suspect standing nearby. The Suspect admitted driving the vehicle, and claimed ownership to the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle was stolen out of Alexandria, VA. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-3 and A/O-4 responded, and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE UUV - FELONY 01:05:00 231031002530 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle in the 700 Block of Maine Avenue SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 Block of Maine Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an extraditable felony warrant issued through the Alexandria Police Department, and confirmed the vehicle as stolen. The Suspect also had a suspended license out of Virginia with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II 17:30:00 231031002540 R/O was approached by the Complainant at the 2nd Street Door of the Hart Senate Office Building. The Complainant stated that their scooter had been stolen from the bike racks located at 2nd and C Street NE. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT II 14:25:00 231030002527 R/O responded to the intersection of First and C Streets SE for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant stated that they left their electric scooter attached to a bike rack at approximately 0540 hours on October 30, 2023. When they returned at approximately 1425 hours on the same date, the scooter was missing. Criminal Investigations Section (CIS) was notified and will continue to investigate.
DEFACING PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY - MISD 11:30:00 231030002523 R/O responded to the 400 Block of South Capitol Street, SE for a report of defacing of public property. Upon arrival, R/O observed a light post and other items in the surrounding area with what appeared to be graffiti on them. A search of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. A/ responded and processed the scene.
