BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 16:15:32 220916001417 R/O conducted a stop on an individual in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, that had been observed carrying a metal stick, and was reported to be threatening individuals. A WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of the District of Columbia for Failure to Appear. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 13:26:00 220915001409 R/O was dispatched to the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SE, for an investigation. Upon arrival, R/O made contact with the Complainant, who stated that a woman was refusing to return his property to him. A WALES/NCIC check of the Complainant revealed that he was subject to an active extraditable warrant out of Maryland. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ROBBERY - FELONY 16:00:00 220915001411 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM; SIMPLE ASSULT; THEFT SECOND DEGREE; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 R/O responded to the unit block of D Street, NE, for the report of a robbery. R/O made contact with the Complainant who stated she had been assaulted and robbed. She positively identified the Suspect who was sitting on a bench nearby. The Complainant stated that the Suspect ripped a bag out of her arms causing her to sustain an injury. The Suspect then broke the items in the bag by throwing the bag to the ground, and threatened to kill the Complainant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD 15:42:00 220914001399 R/O responded to the rear alley of the 200 block of C Street, NE, for the report of Destruction of Property. The Assisting Officer (A/O) observed the Suspect breaking the window of the Madonna House. The window leading to the basement was broken with shards of glass along the sidewalk and inside the window pane. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:14:00 220912001374 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O responded to the intersection of Washington Avenue and C Street, SW, for the report of a single vehicle crash. Upon arriving on scene, R/O observed a vehicle stopped on the median with heavy front end and side damage as well as deployed airbags. During the investigation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted and revealed the Suspect's driver's permit was suspended in Maryland with no valid permit in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 01:35:00 220911001372 R/O observed a vehicle on Washington Avenue, SW, commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active Misdemeanor Bench Warrant out of D.C. Superior Court. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROSSING POLICE LINE 18:19:00 220909001371 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RESISTING ARREST R/O observed the Suspect approach protesters in the area of the unit block of First Street, NW, and take a sign from one of them before sliding in between the fixed bike racks and the Lower West Terrace wall. R/O directed the Suspect to stop, but she dropped the sign and hopped over the wall into another restricted area before running to the middle of the West Lawn and lying down. As R/O was attempting to place the Suspect under arrest, she began to kick and resist arrest. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 17:17:00 220909001370 R/O observed the Suspect, known to R/O as having an active warrant, sitting on a wall in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. R/O conducted a stop of the Suspect in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications confirmed the warrant status out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS 11:25:00 220908001361 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 100 block of Independence Avenue, SE, with a faded Virginia temporary tag that appeared to be copied. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag to be expired and belonging to a different vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY 04:23:00 220907001354 ADDTIONAL CHARGES: RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY - $1000 & OVER FELONY; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O received a LoJack notification in reference to a stolen vehicle in the unit block of K Street, SW. While tracking the vehicle location, R/O observed a vehicle matching the description from the LoJack reader in the 1400 block of Water Street, SE. As the vehicle began driving toward R/O, R/O and the Assisting Officer conducted a felony stop and detained the Suspect and Passenger. During the investigation, the Suspect admitted she had just purchased the vehicle. USCP Communications confirmed the vehicle was stolen. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
