TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:18:00 220206000162 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - PERMIT NO VALID R/O, while on routine patrol in the unit block of E Street, NE, observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of Louisiana Avenue, NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid driver's permit in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 16:24:00 220202000154 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Ave, NE, with the rear tag expiration not visible. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the registration revealed it was expired, and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 15:54:00 220202000150 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, with no front bumper attached. A WALES check of the vehicle's rear tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of F Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 20:18:00 220131000138 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in a lane of travel in the 500 block of Second Street, NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed multiple outstanding warrants in several states. A warrant and extradition status was confirmed through Pennsylvania by USCP Communications. The Subject was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 05:29:00 220129000134 R/O observed a vehicle sitting at the intersection of Washington Avenue and D Street, SW, sit through multiple light cycles, with the vehicle running and brakes engaged. R/O approached the vehicle and observed the driver to be unresponsive. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 01:44:00 220127000127 R/O observed a vehicle displaying no tags in the 500 block of M Street, SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of M Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an outstanding bench warrant issued through the District of Columbia, which was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 01:37:00 220127000131 R/O was approached by the Complainant who stated the driver of a vehicle headed northbound on Second Street, NE, displayed a weapon. R/O-2, posted at Second Street and Constitution Avenue, NE, observed the vehicle turn eastbound onto the 200 block of D Street, NE. Several Officers responded to the scene, and a traffic stop was initiated in the 200 block of D Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle's tags were suspended through Maryland, and the Suspect was unlicensed with an active, extraditable warrant out of Prince George's County, Maryland, confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) 08:17:00 220126000118 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT & RUN; FELON IN POSSESSION/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - FIREARM; POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM; UNREG AMMO - MISD; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON (MACHINE GUN); OTHER - UNLAWFUL TRANSPORTATION OR RECEIPT OF IMPORTED FIREARM; UCSA - POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - FELONY; UCSA - POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTAANCE MISD/MARIJUANA; OTHER - RECEIVE/POSSESS FIREARM WITH REMOVED/OBLITERATED/ALTERED SERIAL NUMBER; TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O responded to the eastbound I-695 ramp prior to the South Capitol Street exit to assist with a traffic accident. While on the scene, the Suspect exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The Suspect ran to the unit block of G Street, SW, where Assisting Officers located the Suspect under a parked vehicle, and took the Suspect into custody. A Witness advised R/O that the Suspect had thrown something near the bleachers of the Randall Recreation Center Baseball Fields. R/O-2 canvassed the area, and located a handgun with obliterated serial numbers, fifteen rounds in the weapon, with a switch to convert the weapon to a fully-automatic machine gun. CSS responded and processed the scene. A search of the Suspect revealed multiple clear plastic bags containing a green, leafy substance that field tested positive for THC, and one clear bag containing 31 white pills identified as oxycodone. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, and a prior felony conviction. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE - FELONY 15:05:00 220125000114 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE; UNAUTHROIZED USE OF A VEHICLE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION; POSSESSION OF AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM; FELON IN POSSESSION; POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE R/O responded to an MPD radio dispatch to the 900 block of South Capitol Street, SW, for the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, R/O observed the vehicle stopped in the 1000 block of South Capitol Street, SW, in the southbound lane. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle to be stolen out of the District of Columbia. A successful felony traffic stop was conducted in the same location with the assistance of several USCP and MPD Officers. Once the Suspect was placed in handcuffs, he admitted to having a weapon on his person. During a search incident to arrest, R/O secured the weapon, which had a large capacity magazine, fully loaded, with one round in the chamber. R/O also discovered in the vehicle, a large plastic bag with several smaller baggies all containing a white, rock-like substance, which field-tested positive for cocaine. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS conducted an interview and an NCIC check of the Suspect, which revealed he was a convicted felon out of Virginia.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 00:35:00 220125000109 While on patrol, R/O observed a vehicle with no headlights on traveling eastbound in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of F Street, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had an extraditable warrant for burglary out of West Manchester Township in York County, Pennsylvania. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
