TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 22:32:00 220826001301 R/O observed a vehicle at the intersection of Second Street and Constitution Avenue, NE, strike a traffic cone and abruptly stop in the 100 block of Constitution Avenue, NE. After performing a welfare check and smelling an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle, SFSTs were conducted. Due to the numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:39:00 220826001298 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 200 block of Third Street, SE, drive through a solid red light. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Third Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a canceled license in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II 08:07:00 220826001294 R/O was flagged down in the 400 block of Second Street, NW, by a Witness who stated a theft had just occurred at a cafe located in the 400 block of First Street, NW. A lookout was broadcast for the Suspect and R/O-2 responded to the cafe to investigate. During the investigation, it was discovered that the Suspect took the tip jar belonging to the cafe and left. A search of the area resulted in the tip jar being located near the intersection of First and D Streets, NW. The Suspect was observed running eastbound in the unit block of D Street, NW, before being stopped. A show-up was conducted and the Suspect was positively identified. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 11:30:00 220825001289 R/O responded to the intersection of North Capitol Street and Louisiana Avenue, NE, to assist with a traffic crash. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed his Maryland license was suspended with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 08:38:00 220824001284 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 200 block of Maryland Avenue, NE, displaying an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of Constitution Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check was conducted revealing the vehicle registration was expired, and the Suspect's license was suspended in Maryland with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 03:22:00 220823001278 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that the tag belonged to another vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the unit block of E Street, NE, and a WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended New York driver's license with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ADW - BLADED WEAPON 12:28:00 220823001282 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY; THEFT II; PUBLIC INTOXICATION; SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-2404; PPW-B-MISD; RESISTING ARREST R/O was flagged down for an assault in the 600 block of D Street, NW. The Complainant stated that the Suspect had exited his establishment with a glass belonging to the Complainant. When the Complainant attempted to recover his property, the Suspect became irate and threw the glass at the Complainant. R/O attempted to make a stop on the Suspect at the intersection of Fifth Street and Indiana Avenue, NW, when the Suspect brandished a knife. When R/O attempted to place the Suspect in handcuffs, the Suspect became combative and caused R/O to fall to the ground and sustaining injuries. R/O also detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's breath. During a search of the Suspect by the Assisting Officer (A/O), the Suspect attempted to bite A/O several times. CSS responded, processed the scene, and took possession of the weapon. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE - FELONY 00:38:00 220821001268 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FLEEING FROM A POLICE OFF-FELONY DC50-2201.05b(b)2; TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS; UNREG AMMO - MISD R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the unit block of Canal Street, SE. R/O attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW. The vehicle stopped at the intersection of Third Street and Maryland Avenue, SW, and R/O attempted to approach the vehicle. The vehicle continued northbound on Third Street. R/O successfully conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Third Street, NW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect. R/O also observed a pistol inside the center console of the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing where SFSTs were conducted. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:55:00 220822001271 R/O observed a vehicle not displaying a rear tag in the 500 block of North Capitol Street, NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of E Street, NW. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O detected an odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 04:30:00 220821001270 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the unit block of Third Street, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed the Suspect had a suspended license in Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
