The Suspect stated he had a small amount of methamphetamine in his front pocket. After conducting a search, a small bag of crystalized methamphetamine was found on his person. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Prince Georges County, Maryland. Due to suspicion of impairment, SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O and CSS responded, and processed the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, two (2) loaded twelve (12) round magazines, one (1) loaded seven (7) round magazine, and additional loose rounds of ammunition were found in the trunk of the vehicle. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. The Suspect refused to participate in SFSTs at R/O's request. Due to the Suspect's disposition and characteristics consistent with an impaired driver, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
