THEFT FIRST DEGREE 14:30:00 240905002295 R/O was flagged down for the report of a stolen e-bike. The complainant stated the e-bikes were stolen between the hours of 1130 and 1430 hours with the approximate value of $1300. A search of the area provided negative results.
NO PERMIT 18:48:00 240905002303 R/O observed a vehicle traveling on I Street SE almost strike a pedestrian. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of I Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed a suspended permit out of Maryland with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:39:00 240905002302 R/O observed a vehicle in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE with an expired registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + FAILURE TO APPEAR + FAIL TO OBEY OFFICER 17:00:00 240904002287 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal right turn on a red signal at the intersection of Columbus Circle and E Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. After stopping the vehicle the Suspect opened the driver's door and fled westbound on foot. The Suspect was apprehended in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant issued by the Charles County, Maryland Sheriff's Office and an active warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - LEAVING SCENE-PROPERTY DAMAGE POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - PROPERTY DAMAGE ONLY 20:44:00 240904002289 R/O observed a vehicle stopped and parked in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O also observed that the vehicle had major front end damage and the vehicle appeared to have collided with a traffic light post at this location. An investigation revealed that suspect's vehicle had collided with two other parked vehicles in the unit block of F Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O could smell an overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from susspect and observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage in plain view within the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to the scene.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 10:00:00 240904002282 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags in the 300 Block of Third Street SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of C Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that the vehicle tags belonged to another vehicle and that the Suspect's drivers license was suspended. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:12:00 240904002288 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear tag traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transport to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 8:25:00 240903002271 R/O observed the Suspect and the Complainant yelling and screaming at each other in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O spoke with the Complainant who stated that the Suspect struck them in the face with a closed fist that visibly left a red mark on the Complainant's left eye. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ CIS and CSS responded.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE (ALL OTHER LARCENY) 0:45:00 240903002269 R/O responded to the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NE for a report of a robbery. The Complainant stated that he fell off his bike in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW and several juveniles approached him. After returning to his residence, he noticed his cell phone missing. The Complainant advised he was able to electronically track his phone in the area of Third and G Streets SW. A/O responded to the area of Third and G Streets SW and located several items matching the description of items the Complainant described. CSS responded to the scene. CIS investigating.
NO PERMIT 20:50:00 240902002268 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations in the Unit Block of Third Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ.
