DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 00:33:00 231224002928 R/O responded to the intersection of Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues NW for the report of a single vehicle accident. R/O located a vehicle with heavy front-end damage in the same location. R/O approached the Suspect and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 2ND OFF | DCC 50DC2201.05[B]1[B]X 07:27:00 231224002929 R/O responded to a report of a single vehicle accident in the 100 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. R/O located a vehicle that struck the gate arm of the barrier at the bottom of the U.S. Capitol Building's Northwest Drive. The Suspect was observed stumbling out of the driver's seat of the vehicle and exhibited slurred speech when conversing with R/O. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | DCC 50DC2206.11 + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE | DCC 50DC2201.05(A) NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 22:24:00 231223002926 R/O was flagged down in the Unit Block of H Street NW for the report a hit and run. The Complainant stated they were struck by a moped at the intersection of First and H Streets NW, and the driver fled the scene on foot. After canvassing the area, A/O-1 & A/O-2 located an individual with a bloody face and shirt in the 100 Block of E Street NW. A show-up was conducted with the Complainant, who positively identified the Suspect. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. While speaking with the Suspect, A/O-1 detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspects person. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: ALLOW OPERATION W/ IMPROPER TAGS | DCC 50DC1501.04(A)(2) 22:40:00 231223002927 R/O observed a vehicle with a temporary tag, which appeared to be fictitious, in the 400 Block of Second Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the vehicles tag had no registration on file. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 21:01:00 231221002920 R/O observed a vehicle at the intersection of Second Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE with an expired tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of D Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERMENT PROPERTY 11:46:00 2.3122E+11 R/O responded to the Maryland Avenue walkway of the U.S Capitol Building for a report of graffiti on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, R/O observed graffiti located on the wall in what appeared to be marker. A search of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. A/O responded and processed the scene.
ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: CARRYING DANGEROUS WEAPON (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) SIMPLE ASSAULT 01:12:00 2.3122E+11 R/O received a lookout for an individual wanted for an assault that occurred in the area of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. While canvassing the area, R/O observed an individual matching the given description in the Unit Block of F Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect holding a wooden plank with a nail protruding from it, and threatening an individual. A witness confirmed observing the Suspect strike the Complainant with the wooden plank. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded, and processed the scene. S/A was notified, and will continue to investigate.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 07:45:00 2.31222E+11 R/O responded to the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory Building for a destruction of property report. Once on the scene, R/O met with the Complainant who stated an unknown Suspect removed padding from a bench in front of the building between 0745 - 0830 hours. There were no CCTV's in the area to capture the offense.
FAILURE TO OBEY POLICE OFFICER. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-LEAVING SCENE - PROPERTY DAMAGE DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE POSSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA 10:39:00 2.3122E+11 R/O responded to the scene of an accident on the off ramp from 395 to Washington Avenue SW. R/O made contact with the driver who failed to provide a drivers license and fled the scene on foot. The Suspect was caught in the Unit Block of D Street SE and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O responded to Headquarters to perform SFST's on the Suspect which he failed. While processing the Suspect, officers located a straw with a white residue. When tested by HMRT the white powder tested positive for synthetic cathinone and bath salt.
CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 12:12:00 2.31219E+11 R/O observed multiple people chanting loudly and holding signs in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest, and transported for processing.
