A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver's District of Columbia permit revealed it was suspended. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - FIRST OFF + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION | 0:56:00 | 240826002199 | R/O observed a vehicle disregard multiple stop signs while traveling through the 200 Block of M Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of E Street SE. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, eighteen (18) rounds of 9mm ammunition were found in the car. The Suspect admitted they had no firearms registered in the District of Columbia. CSS processed the scene. CIS advised of the offense. | |

A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. During the course of the stop, R/O observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage in plain view within the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 2:23:00 | 240825003192 | R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the Unit Block of D Street SE, with its hazard lights flashing. R/O approached the vehicle to conduct a welfare check. While speaking to the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver had bloodshot and glassy eyes. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O located two open containers of alcohol near the driver's seat. | |

Per the Complainant, the Suspect engaged in an argument and then damaged several display racks and products at the store before departing towards Union Station. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of M Street SE. During the course of stop, the Suspect, a backseat passenger, presented R/O with their District of Columbia learner's permit. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to a warrant for Robbery in the First Degree issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Upon confirmation of the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded to interview the Suspect. | |

| POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE + DRUG PARAPHERNALIA | 14:36:00 | 240822002170 | R/O observed the Suspect sleeping on the ground in the 400 Block of First Street NE. The Suspect admitted to being a drug user and consented to a search of their property. During the search, drug paraphernalia and several plastic baggies with a white powdery substance were discovered. CSS responded to the scene to test the substance, which was positive for Fentanyl and PCP. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
