NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 19:17:00 2.31216E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that displayed expired tags, and travelled eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 21:03:00 2.31215E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with what appeared to be improper tags traveling northbound in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a canceled permit out of the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II 05:00:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the Longworth House Office Building for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant reported that their tools were left in their locker on December 11, 2023. When the Complainant returned on December 15, 2023, the tools were missing. A/O responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 11:38:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the Capitol Office to take a theft report. Upon arrival, R/O was informed by the Complainant, that on December 14, 2023 between 1000 and 1400 hours, an unknown Suspect stole a plant from the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory Building. There was no video surveillance of the theft. A/O photographed and processed the scene. Crime Scene was notified.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 02:09:00 2.31215E+11 R/O responded to the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW for a welfare check on a vehicle. While speaking with the driver, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
HIT AND RUN 14:15:00 2.31213E+11 R/O attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Unit Block of H Street NE. The vehicle refused to stop and fled westbound striking a vehicle in the same location. The fleeing vehicle was last seen in the Unit Block of H Street NW.
NO PERMIT. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FAIL TO EXHIBIT LICENSE. 23:31:00 2.31214E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street, NW conduct several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of E Street, NW. During the stop, the operator of the vehicle was unable to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check of the operator revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT FIRST DEGREE (STOLEN AUTO) | DCC 22DC3211 21:07:00 2.31212E+11 R/O responded to the I-395 Third Street Tunnel for a vehicle stopped in the northbound lane at the D Street exit. While on scene, R/O observed the vehicle unoccupied at that location. R/O observed the vehicle's ignition switch had been removed and the steering column was damaged. R/O notified the Complainant of the vehicle's current location and condition. The Complainant confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from 2600 Block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
UUV - FELONY. FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE UCSA - PWID COCAINE - FELONY. 14:36:00 2.31212E+11 R/O observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle traveling westbound on H Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle was stolen. A WALES inquiry of the Suspects revealed one Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Fairfax, Virginia. The Suspects were placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest, revealed another Suspect was found in possession of a large quantity of a rock like substance which was field tested positive for cocaine by A/O. The Suspects were transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | DCC 23DC701 17:19:00 2.31212E+11 R/O approached an individual who matched of a BOLO outside of a room in the Longworth House Office Building. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant out of Kentucky. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
