Permit Suspended-OAS| DCC 50DC 1403.01[3] Y 16:48:00 2.40205E+11 R/O was traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE when he was cut off by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's driver's permit was suspended in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + RECKLESS DRIVING | DCC 50DC2201.04[B] | USC 36RUSC1004.2A | USC 66SUSC66-8-113 01:19:00 2.40205E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in the 700 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A traffic stop was attempted in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SW, at which time the Suspect fled northbound, ran through several solid red lights, and abruptly stopped in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SE. During the stop, A/O observed the Suspect to be extremely fidgety, with bloodshot and watery eyes, and a moderate smell of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. A/O arrived on scene, and performed SFSTs. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 16:05:00 2.40205E+11 R/O responded to a House Office Building Garage in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW for a report of a damaged vehicle. The Complainant stated they parked at 1130 hours and returned at 1430 hours and found two nails in the sidewall of the driver's rear tire. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE + NO PERMIT RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE 21:29:00 2.40205E+11 R/O observed a motorized scooter with no tags traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of F Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle identification number through USCP Communications confirmed the vehicle was stolen out of New York City. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid driver's license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:53:00 2.40204E+11 R/O responded to the 100 Block of Maryland Ave NE for a report of a vehicle accident. Upon approach, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, blood shot red eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC-PERMIT-NO VALID + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OF DRUGS | DCC 50DC2206.11 01:33:00 2.40204E+11 R/O observed a vehicle driving Southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street with no lights running. A traffic stop was initiated in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O detected a strong odor alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | DCC 25DC1001 22:51:00 2.40203E+11 A/O responded to the intersection of Second Street and Independence Avenue SE to assist R/O with the report of an injured person in a vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O observed several open containers of an alcoholic beverage. R/O conducted a stop of the vehicle at the same location. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect had a blank stare with constricted pupils and a flush face. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
Driving Under Influence-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 00:01:00 2.40203E+11 R/O responded to Second Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE, and assisted with a subject stop. Upon arrival, R/O spoke with the Suspect who advised that they struck a vehicle, and left the scene. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O observed the Suspect's eyes to be bloodshot, and a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanated from their person. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to Headquarters, and processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING (M) + RESISTING ARREST 08:20:00 2.40201E+11 R/O responded to the on-ramp of Interstate 395 at the intersection of C Street and Washington Avenue SW for the report of protestors blocking the roadway. R/O arrived at the same location and found multiple Suspects standing and sitting in the street locked together at the arms with a homemade device and blocking all traffic. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS | DCMR 18DCMR1101.1 09:59:00 240131000000 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 300 Block of Fourth Street SE with expired tags. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC inquiry and discovered the tags belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC of the Suspect revealed a suspended Maryland license with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect admitted the tags belonged to another vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
