Additionally, the Suspect had an active warrant held by the Arlington County Police Department, and another held by the D.C. Superior Court. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of Second Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's driver's license was revoked in the District of Columbia, with no status in Maryland or Virginia. While speaking with the suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emanated from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and confirmed the Suspect was impaired. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to Headquarters, and processed. An inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage on the front passenger seat. | |

The Suspect stated he had a small amount of methamphetamine in his front pocket. After conducting a search, a small bag of crystalized methamphetamine was found on his person. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of Prince Georges County, Maryland. Due to suspicion of impairment, SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O and CSS responded, and processed the scene. During an inventory search of the vehicle, two (2) loaded twelve (12) round magazines, one (1) loaded seven (7) round magazine, and additional loose rounds of ammunition were found in the trunk of the vehicle. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

Due to the Suspect's disposition and characteristics consistent with an impaired driver, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
