Driving Under Influence-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 04:15:00 240113000000 R/O responded to the intersection of Second and East Capitol Streets NE for assistance with an investigation. Supreme Court A/O advised R/O the vehicle was stopped in the roadway, sitting through two light cycles. Supreme Court A/O observed the Suspect asleep at the wheel. The Suspect woke up and admitted to the R/O that two alcoholic drinks were consumed prior to driving. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE | DCC50DC2201.05B 20:00:00 240112000000 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags in the 400 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed that the tags were expired. When R/O attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled eastbound in the 300 Block of C Street NE at a high rate of speed, disregarding all traffic signals. A canvas of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DEFACE PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY 22:12:00 240111000000 R/O observed three Suspects smearing an unknown substance on the retaining wall located near the intersection of First and D Streets NE. R/O approached the three Suspects and demanded they stop. The three Suspects then entered a nearby vehicle and fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. All attempts to locate the vehicle were met with negative results. R/A responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 12:12:00 240111000000 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE with an expired Maryland tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed they were not licensed out of the state of Maryland, and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) 2015 | DCC 22DC4504(A)-Y-3 + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE | DCC 7DC2502.01 POSSESSION OF UNREG 21:15:39 240110000061 R/O was working a vehicle checkpoint at Second and East Capitol Streets SE when an individual approached the R/O asking about the laws regarding carrying a firearm in the District of Columbia. The individual admitted to having a firearm in their vehicle. The Suspect was detained, and a search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed a firearm and a loaded magazine with ten rounds of ammunition and one round in the chamber. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, revealed the firearm was unregistered and they did not possess a license to carry firearms in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect.
No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Counterfeit Tags | DCMR 18DCMR1104.4 15:51:00 240110000060 R/O observed a vehicle that displayed a Virginia temporary tag with inconsistent information in the 600 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A NCIC/WALES check of the tag revealed no registration on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding (M) | DCC 22DC1307(A) 11:36:00 240109000051 R/O observed multiple individuals chanting loudly and holding signs in front of a room in a House Office Building. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
Driving Under Influence-1st Off | DCC 50DC2201.05[B][1] X 21:33:00 240109000057 R/O observed a traffic crash in the Unit Block of M Street SE. R/O approached the driver of the striking vehicle and smelled a moderate odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 09:14:00 240109000049 R/O observed a multi-vehicle accident in the 1000 Block of South Capitol Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland with no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01 (D) + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Fail To Exhibit License | DCC 50DC1401.01 19:09:00 240109000055 R/O and A/O observed a moped with no tags displayed, traveling in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SE and failing to stop at a red signal. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue, SW. The Suspect was unable to provide a valid driver's permit. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not possess a permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
