Unauthorized Use Of A Vehicle | USC 14TUSC01382 | DCC 22DC3215 + Receiving Stolen Property $1000 Or More | DCC 22DC3232A,C1 No Permit | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 12:24:00 2.40214E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street matching the description of a stolen vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications confirmed the vehicle stolen out of Fairfax County, VA. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1300 Block of South Capitol Street. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
Theft In The Second Degree (Theft From Building) | USC 37SUSC708-831 10:00:00 2.40214E+11 R/O responded to a report of a theft from a room in a Senate Office building. The Complainant stated they left their glasses on the desk in the office and when they returned they were gone. An immediate canvass of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR | DCC 50DC1403.01[3] X 11:12:00 2.40213E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that travelled southbound, and changed lanes without a turn signal in the 800 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of I Street SW. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect's driver's license was revoked in the District of Columbia, with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to HQ and processed.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + RECKLESS DRIVING NO PERMIT UNLAWFUL ENTRY 14:45:00 2.40213E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with a faded and discolored temporary tag that travelled southbound in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. R/O attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle suddenly fled at a high rate of speed into oncoming traffic, and ignored a solid red traffic light. As R/O canvassed for the vehicle, numerous witnesses advised R/O the Suspect parked in a garage located in the 100 Block of Indiana Avenue NW. R/O was alerted the Suspect attempted to enter the building associated with the garage, and was detained by their staff. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect. The inquiry revealed a no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to Headquarters, and processed.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMORARY TAGS NO PERMIT 13:24:00 2.40213E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with expired temporary tags in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not have a driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the VIN revealed the vehicle was stolen. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to HQ and processed. CSS responded, and processed the scene. CIS was notified, and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 22:57:00 2.40212E+11 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red signal arrow in the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of South Carolina, and no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE | DCC 22DC1341 + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE 20:38:00 2.40212E+11 R/O responded for the report of a vehicle break-in at the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. Upon arrival, R/O observed a shattered passenger rear window, the trunk open, and personal items thrown out on the ground. The Complainant stated they parked at 1030 hours, returned at 2040 hours, and discovered the break-in. A canvas of the area yielded negative results. CSS responded, and processed the scene. CIS was notified, and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF | DCC | 50DC2201.05 [B][1]X 01:55:00 240212000000 R/O observed a vehicle stopped at a solid green light in the 100 Block of E Street NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect unresponsive behind the wheel. Due to concern for the Suspect's well-being, R/O broke the passenger side window of the vehicle which woke the Suspect. SFSTs were conducted; due to the multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest; and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR | DCC 50DC1403.01[3]X 13:28:00 2.40212E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that travelled southbound, and failed to maintain one lane, in the 500 Block of North Capitol St NW. A WALES/NCIC check on the license plate revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect which revealed a revoked driver's license in the District of Columbia, and no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to Headquarters, and processed.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF | DCC | 50DC2201.05 [B][1]X 00:51:00 240212000000 R/O responded for the report of a vehicle accident @ the South Capitol Street exit of Interstate 695. At the same location R/O located a single vehicle crash where the driver stood next to the vehicle. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed slurred speech, and detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from their breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to HQ for processing. CSS responded, and processed the scene.
