FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 16:13:00 231026002499 R/O observed an individual claiming to be the Speaker of the House on the East Front of the U.S. Capitol Building. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect to have an active, extraditable warrant from the Maryland Division of Parole and Probation. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 13:18:00 231025002486 R/O observed a group of individuals sitting, standing and stomping in the hallway blocking the entrance to a room in a Senate Office Building. The Suspects were warned to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to comply. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 10:18:00 231025002482 R/O was traveling south bound in the 700 block of First Street NE and observed a Suspect that matched a USCP BOLO walking west bound in the Unit block G Street NE. R/O conducted a stop, and a WALES/NCIC name check through USCP Communications confirmed the misdemeanor bench warrant issued by DC Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 10:18:00 231025002482 R/O observed a Suspect known to him walking westbound in the Unit Block of G Street NE. R/O also knew the Suspect had an active misdemeanor bench warrant and conducted a stop. A WALES/NCIC through USCP Communications confirmed the warrant. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 14:57:00 231024002475 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE with a tag frame covering the vehicle registration and state identification. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspects Virginia permit was revoked with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - LEAVING SCENE-PROPERTY DAMAGE + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FLEEING FROM A POLICE OFF-FELONY DC50-2201.04b TRAFFIC - RECKLESS DRIVING ASSUALT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR 11:28:00 231024002469 R/O observed a vehicle parked and unoccupied in a no parking zone in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC inquiry of the tag revealed it belonged to different vehicle. R/O made contact with the Suspect who was returning to their vehicle. R/O asked for the vehicle registration while holding on to the vehicle door. The Suspect started the vehicle and pulled off while almost pulling R/O to the ground in the process. While driving away, the Suspect crashed into several vehicles and fled northbound on North Capitol Street NE. A canvass of the area was met with negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT II 14:07:00 231024002474 R/O was flagged down in the 700 Block of First Street SE for a report of a theft. The Complainant advised R/O she allowed the Suspect to borrow her phone at which time the Suspect fled with the phone. A canvass of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT I -STOLEN AUTO + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY - $1000 & OVER - FELONY UUV - FELONY DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD POSSESSION OF IMPLEMENTS OF CRIME - MISD 16:12:00 231024002477 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE in reference to an individual pushing a motorcycle on the sidewalk. R/O and A/O located the Suspect at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Circle NE and conducted a stop. During the stop, R/O observed the motorcycle's ignition was damaged and a flathead screwdriver in the Suspect's possession along with other tools. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed no warrants nor was the motorcycle reported as stolen. R/O attempted to contact the registered owner of the motorcycle, but was unsuccessful. R/O released the Suspect. The tools were recovered as evidence. Several hours later, the registered owner of the motorcycle contacted R/O and reported they parked the motorcycle in the 700 Block of 11th Street NW and did not authorize to use the motorcycle. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
THEFT II 13:55:00 231024002478 R/O responded to a room in a Senate Office Building for a report of a theft. R/O met with the Complainant who stated a pallet jack was left outside the room the previous day. When the Complainant returned, the pallet jack was missing. A search of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate
THEFT I-FROM AUTO + ADDITIONAL CHARGE: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD 23:36:00 231023002460 R/O was patrolling the Unit Block of I Street SE, when he observed an individual looking into the window of a parked car with a flashlight. The Suspect got into a vehicle and fled the scene. R/O canvassed the area and located a vehicle that had the driver's side window broken out and its contents thrown all over the interior in the same location. The Complainant arrived on scene and confirmed ownership of the vehicle. They reported a missing backpack which contained a laptop and several articles of clothing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
