A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of cannabis emanating from the vehicle. SFST's were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |

| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF + SECOND DEGREE CRUELTY TO CHILDREN GRAVE RISK SIMPLE ASSAULT SIMPLE ASSAULT | 22:27:00 | 241000000000 | R/O responded to the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE for the report of a large fight. A Suspect was seen fleeing the area eastbound before being detained close to the intersection of Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue SE by A/O. The second Suspect was initially discovered on scene sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehicle, and two children were observed to be sitting in the back seat of the vehicle. On scene investigation revealed that a domestic altercation took place which resulted in minor injuries on two Suspects, without a single aggressor being identified. The first Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. R/O observed that the second Suspect's eyes were bloodshot and a strong odor of alcohol was emitting from their breath. SFTS's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |

R/O located an unconscious driver inside one of the vehicles. After the driver regained consciousness, R/O detected a faint smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |

Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect had watery and bloodshot eyes and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found a container with a white/yellow liquid on the passenger side floorboard, which smelled of an alcoholic beverage. | |

The Suspect was directed to cease their activity, but continued to disrupt the proceeding. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |
| No Permit + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 14:57:00 | 240430000000 | R/O observed a vehicle displaying a counterfeit temporary tag traveling southbound in the 300 Block of Second Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the temporary tag returned not on file. R/O observed a cup in the center console of the vehicle emanating an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. |
