The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. All attempts to locate the vehicle were met with negative results. R/A responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

The individual admitted to having a firearm in their vehicle. The Suspect was detained, and a search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed a firearm and a loaded magazine with ten rounds of ammunition and one round in the chamber. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, revealed the firearm was unregistered and they did not possess a license to carry firearms in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect. | |
