R/O located an unconscious driver inside one of the vehicles. After the driver regained consciousness, R/O detected a faint smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 1:02:00 | 240501000000 | R/O observed a vehicle travelling northbound in the 1300 Block of South Capitol Street NE, conduct multiple traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street SE. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect had watery and bloodshot eyes and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found a container with a white/yellow liquid on the passenger side floorboard, which smelled of an alcoholic beverage. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the temporary tag returned not on file. R/O observed a cup in the center console of the vehicle emanating an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. | |

SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ processing. | |

| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (SIMPLE ASSAULT) + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 23:45:00 | 240429000000 | R/O responded to the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE for the report of a fight. The Complainant, a U.S. Marshals' Special Police Officer, stated that the Suspect threw a bottle of alcohol to the ground, charged at them, and struck their torso with both fists multiple times. The Suspect was arrested and transported for processing. While on scene, R/O observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage adjacent to the Suspect. |
