FAILURE TO APPEAR (OAG) 14:01:00 241000000000 R/O responded to the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE for the report of a dispute between two Metrobus passengers. Upon arrival, R/O detained the Suspect. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an active misdemeanor bench warrant out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing.
NO PERMIT 14:49:00 241000000000 R/O observed a vehicle at Third Street and Maryland Avenue SW turn on a red arrow. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was suspended in Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF + NO PERMIT 0:27:00 241000000000 R/O observed a two vehicle accident in the 100 Block of E Street SE. R/O located an unconscious driver inside one of the vehicles. After the driver regained consciousness, R/O detected a faint smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 1:02:00 240501000000 R/O observed a vehicle travelling northbound in the 1300 Block of South Capitol Street NE, conduct multiple traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 Block of South Capitol Street SE. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect had watery and bloodshot eyes and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found a container with a white/yellow liquid on the passenger side floorboard, which smelled of an alcoholic beverage.
No Permit + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 14:57:00 240430000000 R/O observed a vehicle displaying a counterfeit temporary tag traveling southbound in the 300 Block of Second Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the temporary tag returned not on file. R/O observed a cup in the center console of the vehicle emanating an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing.
DISORDERLY, DISRUPTING GATHERING OR CONGREGATION 10:17:00 240430000000 R/O observed an individual actively demonstrating during a committee meeting in room 2118 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The Suspect was directed to cease their activity, but continued to disrupt the proceeding. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 23:53:00 240430000000 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Mass Ave NE make several traffic violations. R/O conducted a traffic stop at Fifth and D Streets NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ processing.
TRAFFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT & RUN 2:32:00 240429000000 R/O responded to a traffic accident in the Unit Block of E Street NW. The Complainant stated a vehicle had struck the left side of their vehicle and then fled the scene. A canvas of the area for the striking vehicle was met negative results. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 11:36:00 240429000000 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired rear tag in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. (ks)
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (SIMPLE ASSAULT) + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 23:45:00 240429000000 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE for the report of a fight. The Complainant, a U.S. Marshals' Special Police Officer, stated that the Suspect threw a bottle of alcohol to the ground, charged at them, and struck their torso with both fists multiple times. The Suspect was arrested and transported for processing. While on scene, R/O observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage adjacent to the Suspect.
