DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 3:31:00 240407000000 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration make an illegal right turn, on red, in front of a No Turn on Red Signal. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from the Suspect's breath. The Suspect consented to a Preliminary Breath Test on scene by A/O, yielding a .208 breath alcohol content (BRAC) result. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed.
POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD + DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 2:22:00 240407000000 R/O observed a vehicle that travelled at a high rate of speed in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and Constitution Avenue NE. Upon approach, R/O immediately noticed the Suspect's glassy eyes, and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed. When R/O conducted a search incident to arrest, R/O located a half-inch zip bag that contained a white powdery substance in the Suspect's right front coin pocket. CSS conducted a field test of the white powdery substance, which was a presumptive positive for Cocaine powder.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALOCOHOL OR DRUGS + SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING | DCC 50DC2201.04 POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER (POCA) | DCC 25DC1001 POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUSBSTANCE- MISD | DCC 48DC904.01D 21:01:00 240407000000 R/O observed a vehicle driving northbound in the area of South Capitol and I Streets SE at an extremely high rate of speed. Soon after, a radio transmission was broadcasted informing R/O that a vehicle had collided with the USCP security bollards located at the intersection of South Capitol and D Streets SE. R/O responded to the location and confirmed that the vehicle on scene was the same Suspect vehicle. R/O approached the Suspect and noticed a moderate odor of alcohol emanating from them. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect, was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open container of tequila was located inside a book bag. During a search of the Suspect, a plastic baggie with white powder consistent with cocaine was discovered against their money. CSS responded to process the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT- NO VALID 0:10:00 240407000000 R/O observed a vehicle that drove erratically in the area of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW. The vehicle continued southbound where it nearly collided with a vehicle as the suspect vehicle attempted to change lanes. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | DCC 50DC2206.11 + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | DCC 25DC1001 2:05:00 240406000000 R/O observed a vehicle that drove on its rim without a properly functioning tire as the vehicle travelled northbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle in the same location. While R/O spoke with the Suspect, R/O smelled a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage that emanated from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed. An inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage in the back right passenger area of the vehicle.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 2ND OFF | DCC 50DC2201.05 [B] [B] X + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | DCC 25DC1001 (A)(2)(D) 23:41:00 240406000000 R/O observed a vehicle driven at a high rate of speed, and with no running headlights, in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the vehicle's registration was expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. Upon approach, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, watery eyes, and a fixed stare. The Suspect was slow to respond to questions, and appeared to be in a stupor. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed. An inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle revealed an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage on the front passenger floorboard of the vehicle.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER (POCA) 5:39:00 240405000000 R/O observed an individual asleep at the wheel of a vehicle in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. Upon approach, R/O immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana that emanated from the vehicle, and from the driver's breath. R/O also observed the driver had bloodshot eyes, a flushed face, and slurred speech. SFSTs were conducted; due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, transported to Headquarters, and processed. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O observed an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage on the passenger seat floorboard.
Fugitive from Justice 21:37:00 240404000000 R/O observed a verbal confrontation between two individuals in the area of the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect confirmed an extraditable warrant out of the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT | DCC 50DC1401.01 | DCC 50DC1401.01(D) 8:03:00 240404000000 R/O observed a vehicle turn onto Third Street SW failing to use a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended Maryland operator's permit with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Pennsylvania with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
