A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled an odor consistent with burning marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid license in DC, MD, oe VA. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, Suspect was arrested. Processed at HQ. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the VIN revealed a stolen status out of Prince William County, VA. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect. | |

The officers separated the individuals to conduct independent interviews. The Suspect walked away from the scene. A lookout was placed via USCP Communications. The Suspect was stopped in the Unit Block of First Street NE. During their interview, the Complainant stated that the Suspect made threats to do bodily harm to them. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While in custody, the Suspect was subsequently restrained after becoming uncooperative and resisting attempts to complete the arrest process. |
