DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + NO PERMIT 0:40:00 241221003248 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of E Street NE utilizing the bus lane to pass vehicles. R/O observed the Suspect making additional traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted on the South Capitol Street exit ramp off Interstate 695 Eastbound. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O smelled a moderate odor of an alcohol beverage from inside of the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 20:58:00 241220003246 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW straddling lanes and moving at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 8:41:00 241220003240 R/O and A/O responded to the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW for a person in distress. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect, through USCP Communications revealed an active warrant out of Colorado. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 15:30:00 241220003245 R/O responded to a room in a House Office Building for a defacing of property report. Upon arrival, the Complainant stated an unknown Suspect used a pen to write on a sign in the hallway. R/O collected digital evidence. A canvas for witnesses was met with negative results.
NO VALID PERMIT 21:51:00 241219003238 R/O and A/O observed a vehicle with a partially illegible temporary tag traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY 13:30:00 241219003234 R/O responded to a room in a House Office Building for the report of vandalism. The Complainant stated that she noticed the wall outside the office was vandalized with what appeared to be a black marker. A search for the Suspect was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 12:46:00 241218003225 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal turn on a red light in the Unit Block of Third Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed, revoked in Virginia and no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE (ALL OTHER LARCENY) 15:00:00 241217003217 R/O responded to a report of a stolen automobile at Second Street and Independence Avenue SE. The Complainant stated their 50cc scooter valued at $700 disappeared from that area while they were at work. All attempts to locate the vehicle met with negative results. CIS was advised of the offense and will continue to investigate.
FAILURE TO APPEAR (USAO) X2 + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL RESISTING ARREST 15:59:00 241216003207 R/O responded 300 Massachusetts Avenue NE for a report of a disorderly individual. R/O conducted a stop of the Suspect in the 600 Block of First Street NE. The Suspect was carrying an open container of an alcoholic beverage. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had two bench warrants out of the District of Columbia. While attempting to place the Suspect under arrest, the Suspect became uncooperative and attempted to spit and strike R/O. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:11:00 241216003211 R/O observed a vehicle with illegible registration on 600 North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was initiated on 400 New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended driving status in Maryland and no status for the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
