ADW - OTHER WEAPON 07:55:00 220927001488 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR R/O observed the Suspect asleep inside of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of First Street, SW. R/O conducted a welfare check of the Suspect. The Suspect became irate, made threats, and sprayed an unknown chemical directly at the R/O. R/O and several Officers extracted the Suspect from the vehicle and placed him under arrest. Suspect was transported to CCB. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR 20:13:00 220926001487 R/O and A/O responded to a medical call at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street, NW. Upon arrival, the Officers observed the Suspect running in the unit block of D Street, NW, almost causing an accident. R/O and A/O attempted to stop the individual, who became extremely agitated and kicked the Officers. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the hospital.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 15:57:00 220926001485 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT NO VALID; POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 100 block of Louisiana Avenue, NW, displaying an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Constitution Avenue, NW. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was suspended through Maryland with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia. The vehicle's registration also was expired. A/O observed several open containers in the front of the vehicle, including a half-full container consistent with that of alcohol. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:32:00 220925001479 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O observed a traffic accident while responding to the area of the 600 block of H Street, NE. While speaking with the driver of the striking vehicle, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a revoked Illinois driver's license with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 01:42:00 220924001475 R/O observed a vehicle sit through two light cycles in the intersection of Columbus Circle and E Street, NE. R/O conducted a welfare check in the same location. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFST's were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISD DC CODE 22-1321 16:55:00 220924001478 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: U.S. CAPITOL - DEMONSTRATING PROHIBITIONS CONCERNING GROUPS UNDER TWENTY R/O responded to a radio call for assistance at a permitted demonstration located at First Street and Constitution Avenue, NE. R/O met with the A/O on the scene who had already informed the Suspect multiple times that they needed to leave the area or they would be placed under arrest. The Suspect continued to refuse to leave. The Suspect was then placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 00:14:00 220924001474 R/O observed a vehicle turn left on a solid red traffic light at the intersection of D Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Second Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was suspended through Maryland with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 17:17:00 220923001472 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: RESISTING ARREST R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 block of North Capitol Street, NW, with dark tint covering the entire front windshield. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an extraditable warrant out of Prince George's County, Maryland. When R/O attempted to place handcuffs on the Suspect, he began to physically resist. The Suspect was successfully placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 12:40:00 220922001460 Multiple officers observed numerous Suspects chanting, singing, and restricting ingress and egress of the Constitution Avenue door of the Hart Senate Office Building. The Suspects were warned to cease and desist with their unlawful activities but they refused to do so. Eleven Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 19:11:40 220921001448 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS; POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the unit block of Independence Avenue, SE, with a paper tag that had no listed expiration date. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Independence Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed no current registration for the vehicle existed, and the Suspect had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest. During inventory of the Suspect's vehicle, an unknown substance was discovered in a clear plastic bag consistent with synthetic marijuana, which the Suspect admitted to owning. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
