UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 09:38:00 230419000816 R/o was approached in a House Office Building by two staff members stating they were being followed. R/O made verbal commands for the Suspect to leave the building. The Suspect refused to leave and continued to enter into Room 1118. The Complainant advised the Suspect was not permitted in the office. After multiple attempts, the Suspect refused to exit the office. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY - MISD 00:15:00 230419000814 R/O observed a sign located in the 100 Block of First Street, SW, vandalized by what appeared to be a marker. A search of the area for the Suspect was met with negative results. A/O responded and processed the scene.
CHARGE: FAILURE TO APPEAR 12:57:00 230417000799 R/O responded to a House Office Building for an unwanted guest. R/O located an individual matching the description inside an office. Upon contact, R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check, which revealed an active warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Once the warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT I 09:45:00 230417000794 R/O responded to a House Office Building for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, the Complainant stated that one Milwaukee Press Jaws tool was taken without the owner's permission by an unknown individual. The item was last seen inside of a secured storage cage on Monday, April 10, 2023. A search of the area was met with negative results. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT NO VALID TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS UNREG - AMMO MISD. 23:03:00 230417000791 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE make a right turn at a red light without stopping. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tags came back registered to a different vehicle. A separate WALES/NCIC check of the passenger of the vehicle revealed a warrant out of Prince George's County, Maryland. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A search of the passenger's bag revealed several rounds of ammunition. A/O responded and processed the scene.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR. 02:50:00 230416000787 R/O observed a Suspect known to him walking in the 400 Block of Second Street NW. R/O also knew the Suspect had two active Misdemeanor Bench Warrants and conducted a stop. A WALES/NCIC confirmed the warrants. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
ROBBERY-FORCE & VIOLENCE - FELONY. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404. 07:16:00 230416000789 R/O observed an injured person sitting on the south sidewalk of Delaware Avenue and D Street NE. The Complainant appeared to have numerous visible facial injuries. The Complainant stated he was the victim of an assault and robbery. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 00:09:00 230416000786 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a solid red traffic signal at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and G Street NW. R/O subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the 600 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. While conversing with R/O, the Suspect admitted to consuming multiple alcoholic beverages. Additionally, R/O noticed the Suspect's eyes were watery and glassy. SFSTs were administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT. 23:03:00 230417000790 R/O responded to 200 Maryland Avenue NE to assist with a traffic stop. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active bench warrant through the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting a search of the Suspect's person, R/O removed a bag containing two white rocks. A/O responded and tested the rocks which tested positive for synthetic amphetamines.
SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404 00:20:00 230415000080 R/O responded to westbound I-695 ramp prior to the Third Street tunnel exit for a report of a possible domestic violence assault. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Complainant to have a bloody nose. Further investigation revealed, the Suspect shoved and struck the Complainant multiple times. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
