A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect advised the tag affixed to the vehicle had been obtained from a friend who is a car dealer. A/O responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 600 block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tags affixed to it were not valid. As R/O attempted to effect arrest, the Suspect pulled away and attempted to flee. During the ensuing struggle, the Suspect used their elbow to strike an assisting officer in the face. Once restrained, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit through Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle was stolen and revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. R/O-1 and R/O-2 responded to process the scene. S/A was notified. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
