FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 03:44:00 221124001810 R/O observed the Suspect spit on his marked U.S. Capitol Police vehicle without provocation while in the unit block of E Street, SW. A subject stop was subsequently initiated. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant for Failure to Appear issued out of Prince George's County, Maryland. Upon confirmation of the warrant by USCP Communications, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:22:00 221119001790 R/O observed a driver slumped face down in the unit block of E Street, NW. R/O conducted a welfare check. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech and their eyes were bloodshot. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 14:06:00 221120001791 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PENDING R/O observed an individual in the 400 block of D Street, NW, who was suspected to have an active bench warrant out of the District of Columbia. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the active bench warrant out of the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 07:55:00 221119001789 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 300 block of Independence Avenue, SW, at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted at Sixth Street and Independence Avenue, SE. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect's speech to be slurred and he detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 20:05:00 221118001787 R/O responded to the 100 block of Constitution Avenue, NE, to assist with a DUI investigation. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath and person. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 15:09:00 221115001764 ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS R/O observed a vehicle in the 100 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE, displaying a paper temporary tag that appeared to be fictitious. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. The Suspect confirmed the registration was bought online, and did not belong to the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's District of Columbia permit was expired, and had no valid status in Virginia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) 23:08:00 221114001760 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITATION; TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red traffic signal at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Virginia Avenue, SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. The Suspect advised R/O there was a loaded firearm in the vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene. While conducting a search of the vehicle, a handgun with a loaded magazine was recovered. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) 16:23:00 221108001730 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE - FELONY; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE; POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION; POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE; CARRY RIFLE OR SHOTGUN OUTSIDE HOME OR BUSINESS, VIOLATION OF INOPERABLE PISTOL EMERGENCY ACT; FLEEING A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER; RECKLESS DRIVING; FELON IN POSSESSION; TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE; LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE R/O observed a vehicle matching a look out for a vehicle involved in an armed carjacking traveling eastbound in the 600 block of M Street, SE. A traffic stop was attempted in the 1200 block of Potomac Avenue, SE. The Suspect refused to stop, striking a vehicle in the intersection of Seventh Street and Virginia Avenue, SE. The Suspect's vehicle came to a stop before the intersection of First and M Streets, SE. Suspect 1 and Suspect 2 exited the vehicle and fled on foot. While pursuing Suspect 2, A/O observed a firearm with an extended magazine in the Suspect's hand, before he discarded it into a sewer. While conducting a WALES/NCIC check of Suspect 2, it revealed a prior felony conviction. A responding Metropolitan Police Department Officer observed Suspect 1 attempting to hide a firearm with an extended magazine before dropping the firearm. An additional firearm was found in the area of the scene. Suspect 1 and Suspect 2 were both placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O recovered a loaded firearm from the front passenger floorboard. CSS responded and processed the scene.
ADW - BRICK 10:59:00 221107001723 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR; RESISTING ARREST; UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD; DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD; BENCH WARRANT - MISDEMEANOR R/O responded to the report of a disorderly individual at the intersection of Fourth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. Upon arrival, R/O witnessed the Suspect fighting with two Officers. Once the Suspect was detained, a Complainant came forward stating he observed the Suspect inside his vehicle. After getting the Suspect to exit, the Suspect threw a brick at the Complainant's vehicle damaging the driver's side rear window. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check via word of mouth, which revealed the Suspect had an active misdemeanor Bench Warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-FAIL TO EXHIBIT 21:05:00 221105001719 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMT-NO VALID R/O observed a vehicle pass through a solid red light in the intersection of First Street and Louisiana Avenue, NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of Constitution Avenue, NW. The Suspect did not have a driver's license in his possession. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's West Virginia identification card revealed his West Virginia driver's permit was revoked/surrendered with no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
