While conducting a welfare check, R/O noticed a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. R/O noticed the Suspect had glassy, watery eyes. SFST's were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the vehicle tags were registered to a different vehicle. While conversing with the suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect was not making eye contact. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Complainant stated that they were choked by the Suspect in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O located and stopped the Suspect at the intersection of First Street and Columbus Circle NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle tags were registered to a different vehicle and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect fled and was apprehended at the intersection of First Street and Independence Avenue SE, after forcefully pushing the Officer to avoid arrest. The Suspect was placed under arrest, upon release from Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), he will be transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

While on scene, R/O observed the Suspect slumped over with the engine running. When R/O attempted to get the Suspects attention, the Suspect began driving. R/O yelled for the Suspect to place the vehicle in park and the Suspect complied. The Suspect consented to SFSTs. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
