R/O met with the Complainant who stated they had parked their bicycle in a secure location behind an administrative building at approximately 0915 hours. The bicycle was left unchained. When the Complainant returned at approximately 1420 hours the bicycle was no longer there. A search of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: HARBOR SWIMMING OR DIVING RESISTING ARREST | 10:19:00 | 231003002290 | R/O responded to the Unit Block of First Street NW for a Suspect swimming in the Capitol Reflecting Pool. R/O made several attempts to coax the Suspect out of the water. When the Suspect exited the pool, R/O and A/O attempted to take him into custody. The Suspect struck A/O and re-entered the Reflecting Pool. The Suspect eventually exited the Capitol Reflecting Pool, was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 01:09:00 | 231002002272 | R/O observed a vehicle being driven without running lights at the intersection of Sixth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A traffic stop was initiated in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. During the course of the stop, the Suspect appeared easily confused and spoke unintelligibly. A/O responded to the scene and conducted SFSTs. Due to the numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a subsequent inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, an empty alcoholic beverage container was found under the driver's seat. | |
| CARJACKING | 23:37:00 | 231003002281 | R/O responded to a radio broadcast of an armed carjacking in the area of New Jersey Avenue and K Street SE. Upon arrival and during an interview, the Complainant stated several Suspects brandished firearms and demanded the keys to his vehicle. The Suspects drove the Complainants vehicle eastbound in the 100 Block of K Street SE. The Complainant's cell phone and tablet were in the vehicle at the time of the carjacking. A search for the Suspects was met with negative results. The Complainants vehicle, phone and tablet were later recovered, but from separate locations. CSS responded and processed the scenes. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

R/O located an unresponsive driver covered in vomit at the same location. After the Suspect refused medical treatment, SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, R/O located an open container of liquid consistent with alcohol. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
| UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: ASSAULT ON A POLICE/FIRE - FELONY DC CODE 22-405 FAILURE TO OBEY POLICE OFFICER | 02:33:00 | 230929002254 | R/O observed an individual without visible credentials attempting to bypass the subway security screening area of the Cannon House Office Building. The Suspect disobeyed multiple orders to show their identification from R/O, continued pass the screening site, and then fled the location back into the Cannon Rotunda. The Suspect swung their arm at R/O and continue to flee when a stop was attempted in the same location. R/O pursued and apprehended the Suspect in the Cannon House Office Building. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

The vehicle fled the scene and collided with another vehicle at the same location. The Suspect vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Fourth Street from Pennsylvania Avenue SE. | |
| CONTEMPT OF COURT | 17:27:00 | 230928002251 | R/O observed the Suspect on the Senate Plaza whom he recognized with an active stay away order from U.S. Capitol Grounds. R/O approached and conducted a stop of the Suspect. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the Suspect had an active stay away order from the U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 | 11:03:00 | 230928002247 | Multiple Officers responded to the fourth floor of the Rayburn House Office Building for a demonstration. The Suspects were observed chanting, singing and disrupting the peace while obstructing the flow of pedestrian traffic. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| CROWDING OBSTRUCTING INCOMMODING DC CODE 22-1307 | 14:30:00 | 230927002242 | R/O-1 and A/O responded to the third floor of the Rayburn House Office Building for the report of a demonstration in a prohibited area. Upon arrival, the R/Os found multiple Suspects chanting, yelling, and blocking the hallway. The Suspects were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but refused to do so. Fourteen Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
