TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 16:08:00 230307000402 R/O observed a vehicle with heavy front-end damage and no front tag traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle rear tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. Additionally, the Suspect had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 02:12:00 230306000386 R/O was travelling in the 200 Block of Constitution Avenue, NW and heard a loud crash. R/O observed a vehicle on the sidewalk in the Unit Block of Third Street, NW, and a destroyed traffic pole lying next to the vehicle. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O noticed signs of intoxication or drugs. SFST's were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UUV - FELONY 17:18:00 230306000390 R/O observed a vehicle that matched a lookout for a stolen vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue, SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed it was stolen out of Prince George's County Maryland. While R/O was stopped directly behind the vehicle in the 300 Block of D Street SE, the vehicle fled, and struck four other vehicles. The Suspect then fled from the vehicle and ran northbound on Fourth Street, SE. R/O stopped the Suspect in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-1 and A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. S/A was notified.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT 10DC 503.16 10:06:00 230306000388 R/O observed a vehicle idling in the no stopping zone in the Unit Block of First Street, NE. The Suspect stated they were a former law enforcement officer and that they were armed. The Suspect provided a driver's license, District of Columbia concealed carry permit, and a District of Columbia firearms registration card. A check of the District of Columbia concealed carry permit and District of Columbia firearms registration revealed they matched the firearm in the Suspect's possession. S/A-1 and S/A-2 responded and will continue to investigate. A/O responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM A POLICE OFF-FELONY DC50-2201.05b(b)2. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - RECKLESS DRIVING 17:52:00 230305000384 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle, NE. A traffic stop was attempted on the vehicle in the intersection of Columbus Circle and Louisiana Avenue, NE. The vehicle fled westbound on Louisiana Avenue at a high rate of speed while disobeying several traffic laws. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound in the Unit Block of D Street, NW. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RESISTING ARREST ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMENOR 18:05:00 230305000385 R/O observed the Suspect pounding on the exterior of a Circulator Bus in the Unit Block of E Street NE. The Complainant stated the Suspect broke the glass on the passenger door of the bus. R/O attempted to detain the Suspect who physically resisted. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD 10:58:00 230303000373 R/O was flagged down at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Second Street, SE. The Complainant stated the Suspect entered the Complainant's vehicle and refused to exit. R/O approached the vehicle and observed the Suspect in the backseat of the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 08:51:00 230303000372 R/O responded to the 400 Block of D Street, NW for the report of a physical altercation. R/O located two individuals fighting in the 100 Block of D Street, NW. One of the individuals involved in the physical altercation was known to the R/O as having an active bench warrant. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the Suspect had an active bench warrant issued by the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: PUBLIC INTOXICATION THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM 20:43:00 230303000380 R/O observed an individual pushing a male subject in the arm several times at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NE. As the officer stepped out of the vehicle to investigate, the Suspect punched the victim, with a closed fist, several times in the face. R/O approached and detained the Suspect without incident. The Suspect appeared to be heavily intoxicated. R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During processing, the Suspect banged his head against the wall while sitting on the bench. A/O responded to Prisoner Processing for photographs. The Suspect then made threatening statements toward R/O and other officers.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 10:35:00 230302000365 R/O conducted an administrative NCIC check while working at the USCP Offsite Facility located at 4700 Shepard Parkway SW DC. The return revealed an Extraditable Warrant through Prince Georges County, Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
