Upon arrival, R/O was approached by multiple Complainants stating the Suspect was barred from the establishment and its grounds. The Suspect was asked to leave the grounds, at which time he threw a can at one of the Complainants and entered the establishment. Once inside, the Suspect became physically aggressive toward the patrons, demanded money, and threatened the Complainant when told to leave the premises. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
UUV - FELONY | 10:32:00 | 220728001140 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID R/O received an LPR alert on a stolen vehicle traveling eastbound in the 300 block of Independence Avenue, SW. R/O observed the vehicle traveling in the unit block of Independence Avenue, SE, and initiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Fourth Street, SE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the vehicle was stolen, and the Suspect held no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 02:51:00 | 220728001136 | R/O was flagged down regarding a person who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle, blocking the only lane of travel, in the 1100 block of New Jersey Avenue, SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same location. Upon approach, R/O immediately detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
UNREG AMMO - MISD | 17:57:00 | 220728001143 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UNREG AMMO - MISD R/O observed a vehicle wanted by the Metropolitan Police Department traveling southbound in the 400 block of Washington Avenue, SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of New Jersey Avenue, SE. The Suspect was ordered from the vehicle, detained in handcuffs, and a pat down was conducted. R/O discovered a 9mm bullet in the Suspect's front pocket. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to arrest, a second 9mm bullet was recovered from the Suspect. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of C Street, NE. WALES/NCIC checks confirmed the vehicle's tags were expired, and that the Suspect held no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Virginia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 20:08:00 | 220727001131 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; POSS OPEN CONTAINER ALCOHOL-(POCA); FAILURE TO OBEY POLICE OFFICER R/O observed a vehicle driving eastbound in a coned-off construction area, in the unit block of Constitution Avenue, NE. R/O directed the Suspect to stop the vehicle. The Suspect ignored the order and continued driving eastbound on Constitution Avenue, NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. Upon approach, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, and observed numerous open containers of alcohol in plain view inside the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect's Florida driving permit was expired. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL) | 16:04:00 | 220726001122 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL; POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE R/O responded to a radio call for a lookout of a man with a gun in the area of Union Square in the unit block of Third Street, SW. R/O located a person matching the description in the same location. Upon approach, R/O immediately detained the Suspect, and recovered a weapon and a magazine loaded with seven rounds of ammunition from the Suspect's person. The Suspect did not have a permit to carry in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD | 13:30:00 | 220725001117 | R/O responded to the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Columbus Circle, NE, for the report of Destruction to Property. The Complainants stated they observed an individual destroying a U.S. Capitol Visitor sign and multiple trash cans. A lookout was broadcast for the Suspect. R/O located the Suspect, and made a stop in the unit block of Columbus Circle, NE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

R/O observed the Complainant advising a group of 17 individuals, who were carrying banners, to leave the office. R/O warned the group to leave the office, and all but six Suspects failed to comply. Six Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
UUV - FELONY | 03:16:00 | 220724001111 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAG R/O observed the Suspect bypass a "Do Not Enter" sign in the 100 block of First Street, SW. The vehicle displayed a dealer tag on the bumper, and a New Jersey tag in the rear window. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the New Jersey tag returned with no vehicle registered. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's VIN, which returned as stolen. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
