A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of North Capitol Street, NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's driver's license was suspended in Maryland with no status in Virginia or the District of Columbia, and the displayed tag did not correspond with the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 18:37:00 | 220722001106 | ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID; POSSESSION OPEN CONTAINER ALCOHOL - POCA R/O was approached by two individuals that stated they believed the driver behind them was suffering from a medical emergency at the intersection of First Street and Constitution Avenue, NW. While attempting to render aid, R/O noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath, and a bottle of dark liquid on top of the arm rest. A WALES/ NCIC check of the Suspect's identification card revealed an expired driver's status in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

R/O was advised by JOB Security that the Suspect bypassed security by running into the entrance of the garage, but was stopped by JOB Security. The Suspect stated he parked his vehicle in the garage, and was returning to retrieve his vehicle. The head of Security confirmed the Suspect did not have authorization to enter the complex, and did not park his vehicle in the garage.
