TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 21:25:00 230627001502 R/O observed an individual sitting in a parked vehicle with the hazard lights on, in the northbound lane of the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SE. Upon approach, R/O conducted a welfare check and detected a slight smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. A/O conducted SFSTs, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT II. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000. 14:26:00 230627001499 R/O responded to the Library of Congress Madison Building for a report of a theft. The Complainant reported they left their scooter parked and secured to a bicycle rack at the North East corner of the building. Upon returning to the bicycle rack, the lock had been cut and left at the scene. S/A was notified, and will continue to investigate.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL). ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UNREG FIREARM - MISD UNREG AMMO - MISD POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE. 14:12:00 230626001487 R/O was at the North Screening Entrance of the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center when an individual entered and placed their bag through the x-ray machine. R/O immediately identified what appeared to be a firearm on the x-ray screen and stopped the screening process. R/O identified the owner of the bag and detained the Suspect. A/O responded, processed the scene, and recovered a firearm with a large capacity magazine with ammunition. The Suspect advised that they did not have a permit to carry in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 22:05:00 230626001492 R/O observed a scooter pass through a red light traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and D Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid license through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 08:46:00 230626001484 R/O was on patrol when he observed a vehicle make a lane change without properly signaling while it travelled westbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue, SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's permit revealed a suspended status through Maryland, with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 20:05:00 230626001490 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red light traveling southbound in the 100 Block of Third Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of North Carolina, and no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:38:00 230626001483 R/O observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions as it traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS. 20:30:00 230623001471 While on post on the East Front of the United States Capitol Building, R/O observed the Suspect pacing erratically while yelling profanities and using explicit language. The Suspect turned his back to the R/O and exposed himself. The Suspect did not respond to commands from the R/O to stop. The Suspect fled from the Officers and was stopped in the area of First Street and Independence Avenue, SE. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. The Suspect had also briefly walked around a stanchion and chain from a public access area into a restricted area that stated "Members Only".
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 12:40:00 230622001457 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for the report of multiple people protesting and refusing to leave a private office. The Complainant asked the Suspects to leave in the presence of the R/O. The Suspects refused to leave, were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 22:36:00 230620001442 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired tag driving in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of First Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit in Maryland and no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
