NO PERMIT 19:54:00 250227000547 R/O observed a vehicle in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE without a tag displayed. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 19:19:00 250227000545 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW with the driver side rear light not illuminated. A stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags on the vehicle revealed they were expired and listed them as surrendered. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF 20:34:00 250227000548 R/O observed a vehicle commit several traffic infractions while traveling eastbound in the 300-400 Blocks of C Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. Upon approach, R/O could smell a strong odor of Marijuana and a faint odor of alcohol from the Suspect's breath. Suspecting impairment, A/O responded to the scene to conduct SFSTs. After starting the SFSTs, the Suspect became argumentative and uncooperative. Due to multiple signs of impairment, combined with the refusal to continue the SFSTs, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 21:32:00 250226000532 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the Unit Block of Canal Street SW, at a speed noticeably higher than the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of C Street SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed visual impairment with the Suspect and a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PERSONAL INJURY 18:15:00 250227000544 R/O responded to the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for the report of a traffic accident. The Complainant stated that while riding their bicycle, the Suspect merged into them, knocking them to the ground. The Suspect briefly got out of their vehicle but fled the scene before providing the Complainant with identifying information. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 15:11:11 250227000542 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE without displaying a front tag. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + PERMIT SUSPENDED 17:46:00 250226000529 R/O observed a vehicle travelling southbound with an expired registration in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the registration was expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street NW. While speaking with the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of cannabis and a faint odor of alcohol emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended operator's permit in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, INCOMMODING 12:22:00 250226000520 R/O responded to a House Office Building for a report of an active demonstration. R/O observed multiple Suspects chanting, yelling and sitting on the floor in the Rotunda of the House Office Building. The Suspects were warned to cease and desist demonstration activities; and failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY + DISORDERLY, DISRUPTING GATHERING OR CONGREGATION RESISTING ARREST 14:59:00 250225000510 R/O observed an individual move bike racks and enter a press conference in the House Triangle area. The Suspect was stopped and ordered to leave but failed to comply and proceeded to yell and disrupt the press conference. While being placed under arrest, the Suspect actively resisted by pulling his arms away. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC- DUI + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 15:57:00 250225000511 R/O was flagged down in the 300 Block of Third Street NE for a person overdosing in the driver seat of a vehicle. R/O knocked on the window causing the Suspect to wake up. R/O responded to conduct SFSTs which revealed several signs of impairment. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During the inventory search of the vehicle, an opened bottle of alcohol was found in the passenger seat.
