DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 5:15:00 250712002326 R/O while on patrol in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE, noticed an individual swerving between lanes in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue going westbound. R/O began to follow the individual and R/O came upon the individuals vehicle parked in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue, NW. R/O observed the individual get out of his vehicle and speak with another officer, making several statements that he drank two shots of Hennessey. The individual presented with slurred speech and had difficulty walking. R/O-2 responded to conduct SFSTs on the individual and due to numerous signs and observations of impairment; the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:44:00 250712002337 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of I Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag through USCP Communications revealed that the registration was expired. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of I Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL RECKLESS DRIVING 2:19:00 250712002325 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed westbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. The vehicle passed through a solid red traffic light at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. The vehicle was speeding so quickly that the Suspect briefly lost control of the vehicle before regaining control again. R/O estimated the vehicle was traveling at 80 mph. The posted speed limit in the area was 25 mph. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle as well as the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O found an open bottle of Tequila on top of the rear passenger floorboard.
NO PERMIT 22:43:00 250711002323 R/O observed a vehicle with an improperly displayed tag on the rear window on the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check returned to an expired tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed they had no driving status in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PPW-A 11:12:00 250711002312 R/O-1 and R/O-2 while on patrol near the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE, observed an individual with brass knuckles/pocket knife clipped in plain view. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
NO PERMIT 18:38:00 250711002322 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW with no tag displayed. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect through USCP Communications revealed a revoked Virginia permit with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + RECKLESS DRIVING 3:19:00 250711002306 R/O observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed with its high beams illuminated in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. R/O observed the vehicle for several blocks as the driver failed to maintain lanes, pass a red signal and then proceeded to drive northbound in the southbound lanes in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of G Street NE. R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the drivers breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT I 8:00:00 250711002311 R/O was approached by an individual who reported a theft. The Complainant stated that he parked his scooter on Thursday, July 10th 2025 in a parking lot between the hours of 0600 and 0800. When he returned, the scooter was missing. All attempts to locate the Suspect were met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE 1:57:00 250710002294 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NW at a high rate of speed. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle registration, which returned as suspended. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. While speaking to the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the Suspect's person. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 15:53:00 250710002301 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE displaying an expired registration. A WALES inquiry through USCP Communications confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of C Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. While speaking to the driver, R/O noticed the drivers bloodshot eyes as they smoked a vape pipe, which the driver admitted, contained the substance THC. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
