NO PERMIT 18:00:00 251230003840 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
URINATING OR DEFECATING IN PUBLIC, PUBLIC INDECENCY - A LEWD EXPOSURE OF THE SEXUAL ORGANS, FAILURE TO APPEAR (x5) 13:13:00 251230003837 R/O observed an individual who pulled their pants down to their knees, clearly exposing their genitals, and urinate in a grassy area on the Southwest Drive of the U.S. Capitol Building. A stop was immediately initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual was subject to multiple warrants issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which were subsequently confirmed by Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 4:40:00 251230003830 R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the 200 Block of E Street SW with no vehicle lights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the driver did not possess a valid operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:09:00 251229003828 R/O observed a vehicle stopped at a red signal while in the left turn only lane in the 100 Block of Third Street SW. Once the signal changed to green, the driver continued straight nearly causing a collision. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed a suspended Virginia operator's permit and no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE, NO PERMIT 0:00:00 251228003822 R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal turn at a solid red light in the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street NW. After the R/O attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle continued to drive slowly before coming to a stop in the middle of the crosswalk in the intersection of D and First Streets NW. During the course of the investigation, R/O detected a faint odor of alcohol emitting from inside the vehicle. SFTS were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired Maryland Learner's permit and no valid status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 21:27:00 251228003826 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of E Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O observed the driver's eyes appeared to be glazed over. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT, COUNTERFEIT TAGS 2:55:00 251228003823 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired tag at the intersection of South Capitol and Canal Streets SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the tag was counterfeit. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 17:30:00 251228003824 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of E Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a plume of smoke with characteristics consistent with marijuana emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL, RESISTSING ARREST 16:13:00 251226003815 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with expired tags in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of E Street NW. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of cannabis emitting from the vehicle and observed the driver's eyes were bloodshot. SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. During the search incident to arrest, the Suspect resisted by refusing to comply with several verbal commands and by pulling their wrists upwards while being handcuffed. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory of the Suspect's vehicle, A/O located an open container that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage.
NO PERMIT, POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 16:16:00 251226003816 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired license out of Maryland and no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory of the Suspect's vehicle, R/O located an open container on the driver floorboard that had an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage.
