A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of E Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed the expired status. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect's eyes were glassy and an odor of cannabis was emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered and, due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid operator permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. During vehicle processing, an open bottle of alcohol was found. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The weapon contained a high-capacity magazine loaded with one (1) round chambered and additional eighteen (18) rounds in the magazine. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS conducted a custodial interview and will continue to investigate. | |
