Per a WALES/NCIC check of the tags, they were registered to a different vehicle and reported as stolen out of Prince George's County, Maryland. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

As R/O conducted a welfare check, the person requested medical assistance from the District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services. A subsequent WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual was subject a bench warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. After confirming the warrant through USCP Communications, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags confirmed they were expired and revealed they were registered to a different vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended North Carolina operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Furthermore, the driver was subject to two bench warrants issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. When asked, the driver stated the sticker on display was pulled from another vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Shortly after effecting arrest, R/O discovered an open can containing an alcoholic beverage within the vehicle. | |
