The vehicle continued to drive erratically until a traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver's breath. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + RECKLESS DRIVING | 0:41:00 | 241128003057 | R/O observed a vehicle nearly strike a pedestrian as it travelled through the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was then seen driving erratically, to include straddling multiple lanes of traffic and failing to use proper turn signals when changing lanes, until a traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Second Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver's breath. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

During the traffic stop, R/O could smell a faint odor of cannibis emanating from the vehicle and observed that the Suspect's eyes were dilated. Additionally, the Suspect admitted to consuming marijuana earlier in the day. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| POSSESION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON - FELONY + THEFT SECOND DEGREE DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY POSSESSION OF THE IMPLEMENTS OF A CRIME | 14:37:00 | 241125003030 | R/O observed an individual matching a BOLO in the Unit Block of F Street NW. A stop was conducted at the same location. The Suspect stated they had a knife in their right front pocket. R/O retrieved the knife, confirming it was a switchblade. The Suspect was also in possession of bolt cutters, a cut bicycle lock, and a bicycle. CIS confirmed the items to be those matching a stolen bicycle and destroyed lock from Delaware Avenue and C Street NE. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
